In game stats have always been retarded outside of literal video game settings and just make it feel as wish fullfillment as possible. I wish people would go back to interesting settings, with how much they like moomin in nipland maybe they could take some inspiration.

Give the world proper world building, most isekais simply stop at "it's a fantasy world, now go join a guild or something and rank up as an adventurer"

Have the isekai factor actually mean something, too many times it's simply used as a vessel to get the MC over to generic fantasy land and never mentioned again.

Have the MC be an actual character rather than an insert.

OP technically has an isekai character in it and her story is about coping with fantasy being almost indistinguishable from reality with the help of her friend.
