She just wanted to help.
>Apparently I kill thousands
Was this whole thing translated already?
Cant wait for the scene of Diana cutting her hair in front of a mirror while crying.
>series is basically about the importance of having friends and having fun
>people expect the serious characters to be villains
>not being the ultimate redemption, finally opening up to friendship and giving up on being serious on key scenes
It's like you guys never watched anime
>Diana consulted astrology to see the future
>See the future of Luna Nova, as the future of Akko as well
>Try to change it by herself, reading classified information on Luna Nova
>See herself unable to change a thing, once again failing to the need of hep others
>Goes crazy on a mental break
>Decides that she can't help, them NO ONE WILL
>Turns into the exactly monster she saw originally on the astrology visions
Yeah. It's basically them appreciating the passion and love that some viewers have expressed for the show so far, and that they should look forward to what happens in the rest of the series.
>Diana sees the future
>1000 years in the future and witches don't make any noticeable progress
>behaving like dumb useless witches
>summons a dragon and exchanges body with a monkey god
>marries herself from another timeline and kills all witches from the multiverse
This and one more which was torn. They might have just repeated the text but I'm just wondering if anyone checked
Does anyone have the original post?
looking through the archive is a mission
>magical witch anime
>doesn't have a functioning fictional language
>isekai joke anime
>has a functioning written language
hmm really makes my almond shiver you know
This is the torn page
>>character is antithesis to the protagonist
Just because Diana is focused and talented while Akko is terrible at magic and carefree?
This could be said about Amanda as well. When you look at it the majority of the characters in LWA are carefree and fun. Even the Headmaster showed her silly side last episodes. Only key characters have the serious and uninterested look on their faces, Diana being one of them, together with Andrew and Ursula . Andrew proved to be now in Akko path, and Ursula is going full Clark Kent in disguise.
Guess what will happens to Diana too...
That's also a just an alphabet substitution chipher, isn't it?
I don't know Japanese, but this is what we ended up with:
>Magic can do everything if you believe in it!
>Except preserve books or fixi eye sight
>Both things can be easily obtained at human world
Lord Umbridge is right. Witches are useless.
Diana is Aryan Master Race princess with a perfect pedigree who can do absolutely no wrong. Akko is a muggle monkey from the orient who fucks up at every turn. They couldn't be any more opposite. Diana exists to oppose Akko in every aspect.
Konosuba substitutes into romaji so it's not direct substitution.
For example this application form translates into
O TOKORO ________
WATASHIHA AXYS KYOUNI
AXYS religious community
(Symbol of Axis)
Your name _______
Contact Place __________
Whoever recruited you ______________
Today I am devoted and faithful to AXYS.
Yet an ambitious witch story doesn't have functional rune language. SAD
Hannah a best
Too bed Trigger will abandon her just like they did with Nonon and Midori
It substitutes into the latin alphabet which is used to write in romaji. That doesn't mean it's a language.
Lwa did the same thing here >>154809139, but the original piece where we cracked the substitution cypher was in latin.
Meme of the week
>Diana is looking up for a book about the seven witches...therefore she is the villain!
I honestly don't know if they've read Harry Potter way too much or just dumb enough to not see a red herring coming miles away
Hannah needs Barbara's help to shave down there.
Barbara is fine, but if you want a bully, better go full bully
Plus she's a redhead with a cute ponytail.
Hannah certainly is a better bully, I'll give her that
>inferior humanoid workers going on a strike
Dis gonna b gud
>see the future
>summon shiny rod
>raise the dead without punishment
>identify and save rare creatures
>visit forbidden places at Luna Nova...twice
>talk to ancient spirits
Why other witches are even trying?
>the only legit cute couple at LWA
>no lovebee scene
>instead have a Sucy/Akko out of nowhere
Also does someone know what the hell is this? Like, is there a similar beast in mythology?
As much as I hate them for bully, they really looked great in that episode.
Shitpostng aside... is Ursula real name Chariot? Old Tree Witch seems to confirm that
If that's the case, Akko is even a bigger retarded than it looks
I thought about that serpent in nord mythology that sleeps and will cause the ragnarok, but the show is going full irish on it's mythology, so I guess its something else. What I'm sure is that it has the same power of thre dragon in the first ova, and it's been consuming the magic in the world.
No. Witches lost the power to use magic away from sorcerer stones, but believing hearts still worked. So Chariot would hunt demons but make it look like a show to get magical power from the hearts of children.
>"let's slaughter the elves, Chariot"
Wtf, why did it turn so racist all of a sudden?
>It was a double act, faking to be a stupid show performer, in order to wake the chosen one, while faking to be a mediocre teaching meanwhile
What is Chariot ultimate form?
>ancient evil witch gets sealed deep innawoods
>witches strip themselves of the ability to use magic outside of stones to ensure that the ancient evil also can't use magic
>Diana finds a way to restore magic to the world so they don't need stones
>accidentally gives magic back to ancient evil witches too
Woodward is a druid
Obviously central part of plot is on Arcturus forest, that got sealed with the ultimate magic together with Shiny Rod. Old Tree Witch probably had something to do with it.
You did it Diana
You caused the Third Impact
>Cú Chulainn going into battle in the Táin Bó Cúailnge, which was said to have begun at Samhain.
>Cú Chulainn, also spelt Cú Chulaind or Cúchulainn ([kuːˈxʊlˠɪnʲ] ( listen); Irish for "Culann's Hound") and sometimes known in English as Cuhullin /kəˈhʊlᵻn/, is an Irish mythological hero who appears in the stories of the Ulster Cycle, as well as in Scottish and Manx folklore. He is believed to be an incarnation of the god Lugh, who is also his father. His mother is the mortal Deichtine, sister of Conchobar mac Nessa.
>Claíomh Solais (reformed spelling), Claidheamh Soluis (unreformed Mod. Ir. and Sc. Gaelic) (Irish pronunciation: [/kɫiːv ˈsɔɫɪʃ/]; an cloidheamh solais (variant spelling) pronunc. roughly /kleeve-solish/), rendered "Sword of Light", or "Shining Sword", or "a white glaive of light", is a trope object that appears in a number of Irish and Scottish Gaelic folktales.
The sword has been regarded as a legacy to the god-slaying weapons of Irish mythology by certain scholars, such as T. F. O'Rahilly: the anologue in the Irish Mythological Cycle being Lugh's sling that felled Balor, and their counterparts in heroic cycles are many, including the popular hero Cúchullain's supernatural spear Gae bulga and his shining sword Cruaidín Catutchenn.
Shiny Rod was literally used by a legendary avatar of the god Lugh to fight people from Ulster during Samhain
LWA is an Irish nationalist propaganda anime
She was the first Chariot and one of the Great Nine Witches responsible to seal this Acient Shit in Arcturus but now it seems they are in desperate need to revive these Seven Words before shit hit the fan badly and the only hope is the new Chariot candidate Akko.
For fuck's sake, magical world it's called the Dewey Decimal System. You don't need this once every few years in the light of the moon BS
I don't think there's more than one Chariot, pal . She only guided Ursula on her trials tribulations. The rod, as they explain, is older than Shiny Chariot act as well, being a import piece of the seal.
You not only have to "unlock" the seven words, but you also have to carry the rod with you while doing it
Diana looks very cute in that picture.
Because the other witches would start the Ragnarok, with intetion or not doesn't matter
On contrary. She will save Akko
Like she did on the OVA, episode 2 many others instances
Pushing the Draco shit on Diana is embarrassing , since it's obvious that her part on the team is always putting on the last card on the table, giving time to the hero do the finishing move
I swear to god, guys. It's every Mahou anime ever made. Please.
>ah yes magic is restrained in a number of the so called "Stones" such as our Philosopher Stone, thus restraining its true potential
>in order to prove the Rt Hon Humbridge MP I will free magic jolly good
>after all, my ancient witch family is famous for our revitalising magic, hnah
What? Seven witches of Sin? We re:zero now?
>Diana is witch of pride
>Akko is witch of sloth
>jasminka is witch of gluttony
>sucy is witch of greed
>amanda is witch of lust
>lotte is witch of envy
>constanze is witch of wrath
>why was Odin being a dick to Thor? what kind of test is that? just fuck off asshole.
> why was God being a dick to Abraham? what kind of test is that? just fuck off asshole.
>why was Zeus being a dick to Ixion? what kind of test is that? just fuck off asshole.
>From it looks like, it's not by only screaming it and pointing the wand, but understanding the full meaning of it as well.
So a philosophy graduate with little witching training should be able to do it?
>Like she did on the OVA,
Was that before or after she freed the dragon and nearly got every one killed or was it after she nearly killed the magic butterfly fairies.
Diana's a fuck up, she's going to go full Lord of Chaos, your waifu's a shit. Go to hell.
>she is blonde
>she has mysterious motivations
>therefore she is Malfoy
Literally the logic that people are going for
>tfw real Chariot died and Ursula was just a stand in, her performances were supposed to help her revive all Seven Words but she lost faith in herself and Woodward told her to get rid of Shiny Rod
There's a good chance of her trying to pull off something major with the knowledge from that book, but messing up. Like in the first episode where she tried to revitalise that tree, then almost went on a butterfly murder spree.
>shit goes down
>everything is srs
>no resolution in sight
>suddenly the god Lugh jumps out
>"lmao magic is for fun not for being angry at each other go party lol"
Celts in charge of suspense
Magic is fucked and the older witches want Diana to fix it. They're idiots and Diana sucks.
Ursula and ghost deer witch want Akko to fix it by reviving magic the right way. They are smart and Diana and the old witches are going to get everyone killed in a giant firey dragon snake ball of destruction
Looks way to tall/mature to be Diana. The face and eyes look like Andrew's but those childbearing hips are making me think its some witch we haven't seen before. I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of Andrew/Diana's ancestors since they come from the same bloodline.
Her dumbwit friends freed the dragon, not her
But again, that is how it goes
>Weird thing happens
>Akko wants to go full attack on it
>Diana read once something about it
>Akko approach gets backfired
>Diana keeps the lecture
>It backfires Diana
>Akko goes berserker on unorthodox creative ways to save the day
>Diana says it's useless, because of that thing she once read about, and explain the episode/plot/mystery
>Akko charges up
>Menace is no more
Both usually work together, with Diana (the Rival) going on the intellectual aspect of it, while Akko (the Hero) goes body-on-body against it.
Again. Every Mahou episode.
I bet there was HUGE warning written on that torn page.
I want Andrew to die standing after delivering an important Mac guffin to Akko, she doesn't noticed until she returns of saving the day with the mac guffin. Think in s-cry-ed when Kimishima just die while kazuma was carrying him.
Don't you fucking dare Trigger, don't you fucking dare.
Diana is a good girl
>yfw the last word changes the Shiny Rod into a sword
>yfw the Sword of Light/Shiny Sword
>yfw it slays evil
>most well known representation of evil in mythology is a dragon
>yfw the dragon that wanted to eat the sorceror
s stone in the OVA is the final form ot the bad guy
ARE YOU NIGGAHS READY?
I don't think she "hang out" with them, but rather that she allow them to follow her because she doesn't really care. But really, I don't think she cares much about anything other than magic.
That's effectively the same thing. She's old enough to right from wrong and old enough to tell them to fuck off.
She's a bully and shit and no amount of retarded DIDN DO NUFFIN is going to change the fact that she willingly associates with those rotten shit stains
I'm Akko fan and her being somehow fated to rescue magical world seems like a really boring idea. She's more of a person who would fuck up anyone talking about destiny and inevitability.
First word Akko unlocked was about "Striving for a place of idylls" Pretty easy one to her, and why the Shiny arc worked instantly after the words
Second one was about not being able to conquer dreams, but instead constructing it. Ursula gave Akko the spoiler, so she made the math after the trial.
God only knows what the next ones are about. Maybe Ursula really never solved the ultimate puzzle.
So it's the Akko and Ursula ride from here on out?
>They're the closest thing she has to friends.
That doesn't fucking matter. She's not a child. They hang on her every whim, all she has to do is say back off and they'll do it on the spot
Along the world axis
The Empress lay sleeping
To the rhyme of the, of the, of the star clock
Seven ladders to the, to the
Had Ursa Major
Tables turning, turning
And rain maker
While the seven
All went, all went
>The sword's keeper is usually a giant (gruagach, fermór) or hag (cailleach), who oftentimes cannot be defeated except by some secret means.
>Akko is discovered the Shiny Rod in the forbidden forest where a Giant Cockatrice resides
Deepest fucking lore.
As far as the story goes, it's either a warning or instructions on how to do something. What's actually written is the same text as in >>154809139, but the missing parts of it.
Woodward was alive in 420AD. That shit is clearly a flashforward.
Growing up sucks. Boo hoo. Get over it. You either do the right thing or you be a bitch. Don't hide like a coward and expect people to tell you it's okay. If that's all it takes to shatter their friendship then they where never friends to start with and she's better off getting rid of them sooner
I'd guess that spider witch is a separate character. (S)he was shown separately in the OP, after all. Looks so androgynous that I'm sure its not a re-costumed Diana.
I am wondering about... uh, xir apparent age, though. In the OP, they gave her a youthful build and girlish posture as she sits on the tree limb. Xe might be drawn a little wonky in the flame-backlit single-frame in Akko's vision, making xir a bit older.
I think a link to the inbred Diana / Andrew family line is a good guess, though.
man, I cried at this bit, not gonna lie
it's the damn sad music they play too
>waaaaaaaaah it's okay for my shitfu to be a bitch to other girls
if baby can't take it baby better not dish it out. It's still a far kinder thing than any of her toadies has said.
I guess if we figure out what the leaves mean we can get spoilers for what she's going to do to unlock the rod
>In the legendary Nine Witch, she is the legendary witch who is only alive.
>At Blue Moon Abyss she was testing Akko in the form of an ancient ghost.
>She instructs Ursura to collect seven Words.
>Ursula is chariot?!
The original short films hinted at this. Anyone that saw the originals should have seen all the foreshadowing.
For those that didn't see the originals, Ursula recognising the Shiny Rod in ep1 and instructing Akko in its use should've started clueing you in.
The attention to Ursula's distinctive eyes in ep2 onwards should've pointed you strongly towards her being very important to the plot, and not just in a "I'm a major supporting character" manner. Only one other character has such distinctive eyes, and that's... Shiny Chariot.
The third and final clue is that she's always a little cryptic whenever it Akko asks her anything Shiny Chariot related. Pay attention especially when Andrew visits the school, she clearly recognises the labyrinth that Akko and Andrew are running around in, and it's more than just because she's a teacher.
Anon no... my dream ever since being a kid was...
to become a politician and make the world a better place
Looks like a Cavendish to me, but too mature to be a Diana. Unless we get some sort of time skip, which I seriously doubt will happen.
Sub cypher is by definition a cypher. It is done to alter and obscure the interpretation. Glyph covers shit like different fonts and differents forms of letters for the same sounds.
While replacements cyphers USE glyphs to obscure content not every use of alternate glyphs is a replacement cypher, bruv
How do Dianafags feel knowing their favorite girl is going to be the one to bring ruin to the world?
1600 years ago is 417AD
It seems magic was at its strongest when celtic power was strongest in Britain in the modern era, the Romans had just left and the Germanic tribes hadn't conquered England yet. A lot of the spells seem to come from Gaelic/Irish/Celtic mythology too.
>Like, is there a similar beast in mythology?
>has never been into a deep sea thread
You best be believing in sea monster stories anon.
You're in one.
>4chan spends years calling Japanese "moonrunes"
>Trigger invents a substitution cipher for phonetic Japanese that is acutal moon-runes
ＬＩＴＴＬＥ ＷＩＴＣＨ ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ をみてくれてあいどくするほどねっしｎのかたがたがいておひくおもいます。
I will wait and break, but everyone also put on a brace with seasoning of the season.
Please tell me.
Luckily for you to see LITTLE WITCH ACADEMIA and to make it so much you will find that there is a struggle for you and it is very important.
It is impossible to forbid the number of police who have been supported so far and have sustained so far.
I have been waiting, but it is also a substitute...
>Turn out theres an ancient evil that cannot be defeated by conventional means
>magic is dying
>only way to save the world is to bring magic back to its prime
>cannot do so without major sacrifices for everyone, both literally and metaphorically
I, for one, welcome our new murderous mistress.
>arranged into a 3x3 grid of 9 with an empty space
Did a retard make this? Was it Akko?
Akko will be long passed the point of defeat, collapsed to her knees, Diana will slowly advance monologue-ing while she does it. She will get to a single pace away from her and there will be a pause, (enter possible "final" insult here with maybe a look of disgust/pity), but before the final blow is struck Akko will begin a speech.
Will more than likely agree with most of the insults she was given but then start to be combative, manages to get a single foot back but is still staring at the ground, and uses some staff transformation of the Shiny Rod to stabilize herself and she'll look up locking eyes with Diana. (Enter cliche (How can she still move) inner question here for Diana), Akko will then begin to counter all of the other more than likely valid points with bullshit like "MUH FRIENDSHIP" and/or "MUH DETERMINATION". Diana, who was previously more than likely at full power, will apparently be completely stunned by this development and will refuse to finish her off.
Akko will then use the final phrase/spell to complete the gems on the Shiny Rod and defeat Diana. Akko will then help her up, they will fight the big bad next episode, and season 3 never.
It's so predictable it hurts.
But I'll still be cheering like a faget the entire time.
>that fucking episode
Why did the professors all think dragonese philology wasn't worth the time anymore when one of their founding contracts was written in it? I get that the children are obviously supposed to save the day, but couldn't they have made the professors even slightly believable? Their incompetence is incredible
>atraddodiad a grym
Tradition is cruel
I don't get it.
I thought the Luna Nova staff were incompetent idiots, yet they directed Diana straight to the tome-of-plot-advancement?
Is Ursula/Chariot knowingly working behind their backs?
Are the red visions showing the past (when magic went too far, revolt, possibly sealed away which is why they need the "magic stone" now) or the future? Who is the cloaked person?
Seems like it's leading to some sort of conflict between the other staff vs the muggles vs Team Chariot/Akko, with Diana/Andrew defecting across through the power of "yay".
And why is literally every powerful magical creature/object/etc. conveniently located within Luna Nova's school grounds? Aren't there other magic schools around the world?
Glad we've finally got a plot.
There's a severe lack of Akko's bellybutton in here
>every word activates a function of shiny rod
>noctu orfei aude fraetor is for a bow
>phaidoari afairrynghor is for a scythe
Probably the drill one is a single word
>giga dorir breaku is for a drill
It's a magic enhancing outfit, not slutty
Because shes a bit dumb
>Why isn't everyone a piece of shit like I am, mommy?
Because you are the garbage of society, anon.
And few want to be anything like you.
