Cool. Loved how Zero introduces a character who's basically Kurisu with all the annoying parts about her removed + a more engaging personal conflict to boot, but by necessity of the story isn't even part of the ending that Okabe get to.

It's still there right to the end in those scenes where she's cheering him up - and I know that Okabe responds positively to it, I personally just found it annoying. Felt like they could've taken that entire aspect out of her character and not much would've changed, and that it was just shoehorned into her character because Japan loves tsunderes.

The entire story is sort of about characters sacrificing themselves so that everyone makes it to Steins Gate though. I'm sure Maho ends up meeting Okabe & co through Kurisu in the future anyway, her being made a lab mem pretty much guarantees that on a meta level since it's a pretty sappy story at heart and all (not that I'm complaining)
