I don't know if this is something bad or good, honestly. Coalitions over here are always for bad, but don't know how does it work over there, and Bandai/Namco owning everything sounds like monopoly. Can someone shortly explain what influenced would this have over the industry in general?

In this case for now, it just means that the streaming service Daisuki will belong fully to Bandai/Namco. That one's for sure.

There's probably also a chance that AnimeNow, which advertises some articles on ANN, will cease to be, since AnimeNow was owned by the ACJ. Or at least that there will be less articles coming out on AnimeNow.
There's most likely going to be less effort by the entire Japanese anime industry to try to promote anime outside of Japan together, and everyone just goes back to doing its own thing.

Perhaps it's a combination of the Chinese tech companies being angry at the ACJ for having misspent their contribution by financing shows nobody in China wanted, and the Crunchyroll/Funimation partnership also having killed the haggling war over who gets to stream anime in America and the rest of the Western world.
Must have caused all the other business partners of Bandai/Namco to consider Daisuki an utter failure not worth throwing money at anymore.

Not really. The Europeans and the Asians (mainly China and Taiwan, maybe Singapore as well) are a much bigger deal to them than the US. Hell, it took decades and anime still isn't as well established in the US as compared to those aforementioned territories.

I went to Anime Japan 2014 and as far as I recall there wasn't anything being sold there, it's also not that interesting outside of the lottery events.

Is Sprite going to be at the event? I don't think I've heard any news about that AoKana sequel since last year.

BONES revealing an original production as well, 2ch speculates a Rie Matsumoto (Kekkai Sensen) project.
Maybe a teaser for Shinkai's next film, although it might be too early for that.
GONZO is celebrating its 25th anniversary, more info on the 18 Anime project that they're developing with Kouji Morimoto (4C founder).
