Anyhow, Nee-sama is a very good sister in this backstory. I've also noticed something interesting. When Rem is more stressed out and trying to take the whole burden of everything on herself, she thinks of herself as "Ram's substitute" like how Roswaal suggested. After Ram helps comfort her when she's crying because of all of that and tells Rem she doesn't have to shoulder everything, Rem reverts back to thinking "replacement for Ram's horn". Which was her original idea, and what Subaru tells her to do later.
