Both of those end are unlikely. It seems like Hata scrapped away his original idea of a Maria arc and there really hasn't been enough focus on Maria as a result so Maria end will seem like an asspull.

Hina may have overcome her heights thing and thus would be a good direction, but again, with 4 chapters left while there's still all that plot to deal with, it's unlikely she'll get her part covered. Hell, her vs Himegami was dealt with off panel.

Just accept that it's going to be forever alone.
