I was really hoping we'd get more (that is to say, "some") Magical Girl Raising Project stuff at Wonfes, because I've not bought anything since Flare's Ririka- which first went up for preorder like 18 months ago. Right now the only thing I'm looking forward to is Alter's second Gwendolyn figure and Flare's 2B scale, the former of which hasn't been painted yet and the latter doesn't even have a prototype.

Figure prospects for non-idol anime characters at the moment is fucking dismal. I blame Kancolle.

Interesting problem. I've got a figure I can't identify. I bought it almost 10 years ago at a convention for practically nothing. I had no idea who the character was, I just knew it was cheap, reasonably cute, and huge (1/4 scale), so I bought it. Now I have no idea who it is and not even any way to look it up as I have long since threw out the box.

It's a long shot, but I don't suppose anyone here recognizes her? I'm pretty sure its just a character from some no-name eroge or something.

The style is certainly appreciable, or rather I can see why people appreciate it, both for humanoid characters and more special ones like Evolve monsters or Titanfall mechs.

Nendos, however, really capture the character in a more extensive way (but have yet to capture my wallet) often times given the expressions and accessories. It's not for everyone though.

I really think they look absolutely terrible and I wouldn't want one even as a gift. Even if you think they look ok, they all have the same face and the same boring pose, they're not customizable or posable like nendo are.
