You fucked up by posting Queen Bitch.
I'm here for you, though. Megumi a best.
Just wanna see her match. Will she get the loli or the blade guy?
Is this the most accurate top three popularity ranking in Shonen Jump history?
>chapter is mostly just nene and souma
this could be either a good or bad thing. good because this could mean tsukuda is trying to get this match out of the way quickly. bad because this could mean that hes going to drag it out like every other souma match.
its gonna be a long rest of march either way.
>PSD is overjoyed to reunite with Isshiki, who says if they lose they'll start a farm together
>they then get thrown into a jail cell
>audience jeers at Souma and Nene basically tells them to fuck off, which excites them
>Kuga says she might be on her period again
>Souma is going to make cup yakisoba
>in a separate room, three gaijins are watching all this on a screen
>they're apparently the judges
>they then get thrown into a jail cell
>they then get thrown into a jail cell
Yeah, the tournament was actually really enjoyable right up until around when Souma fought the Giganigga and if they'd quit there it would've been GOAT.
Then Pajeet and whatshisface had to drag it out for two more.
When they're drawing straws for the themes and Souma says Nene can pick theirs, she declines and says she wants a clean, fair match while glancing at Eizan.
When the crowd is shitting on Souma she coldly says she hates dirty heckling, and that makes them wet.
When Kuga tells Souma to watch out for her because she's always pissy and sharp-tongued and probably on her period again, Nene murderously says "Kill yourself Kuga".
I have a theory where the reason why Nene seems so stiff as a character is probably because of not receiving lots of love from her parents but Somas D...ish will have her feel the love she had never gotten which makes her like Soma (not romantically) which will have her be more friendlier (more towards Soma)
Forgot to say, Nene's specialty is Japanese cuisine in general but her soba is nigh unparalleled (as explained by Erina).
>N: I'll say this now... you shouldn't think of me as a chef limited to Japanese food, Yukihira Souma-kun. Whatever theme you select, whatever genre we fight in, the fact won't change that I'll crush your dish
>Souma draws the theme and it's soba
>crowd goes wild, Nene gets a little flustered and blushes
There aren't very many yet. I think most of the comments are on the fake (?) spoilers that were posted earlier, unless they're calling the current ones fake too. Some speculation on the cup yakisoba, one guy thought it was funny that Isshiki said they'll start a farm and not a restaurant.
>the reason why Nene seems so stiff as a character is probably because of not receiving lots of love from her parents
This actually isn't too wild of a theory, since she was trained in tea ceremony and kaiseki cooking and had Japanese cuisine hammered into her from a very young age.
I figure it's like that Takumi moment back in the Training Camp arc where he says they'll meet again and they end up sitting next to each other. Nene lays out this cool speech where she says she can wreck Souma outside of her home advantage, so bring it on, and the theme is soba anyway.
Will Azami cry like he used to when his side loses?
Isshiki could specialize in vegetables or something given his farming.
Even if the outcome is obvious, the journey there could be worth more than the destination.
In other words Tosh has to draw Nene and Momo's strippings really really really lewd. And well.
Has she ever been found in a different pose? Serious question.
All I remember about her is this pose. If not this pose then it would probably a close-up on her face so you don't see the hands.
Having different poses while cooking does not count.
Azami skied down the Mountain so fabulous it caused Megumi to drop her handpose for the first time ever!??
R.I.P Megumi x Handpose OTP
It's no coincidence that Nene is a good Soba maker and Soma just so happens to be paired up with Megishima who is most likely a noodle master
Soma will be losing at first then Megishima will swoop in and save his ass
>Gaijin are the judges
>Haven't tasted Tootsuki food in a while
And after eating food from the best Tootsuki has to offer, they will comment that it is comparable to food made by students from another elite school. Average students that is.
Reminder that Megumi will never be with Souma.
>think to myself that tosh must like gintama because kagura is always prominent in his jump spreads
>keep forgetting that it's currently the second longest running series in the magazine
I don't know what to feel here.
I think she can pull off the snobby bitch role
There's not really original content. Just the two ovas which covers Takumi's chapter of the LN and Erina's pool chapter.
But the first season is really good, you should give it a try.
The Umis are always so fucking confused.
So these are the judges, eh?
Alice is there in the cage in a panel.
god damn it I hate set up chapters. they're probably going to do one for every matchup too. i'm going to shit my pants if there's any hiatuses in between
this is going to take a while, buckle up
Also not that guy, but people tend to default to the names the characters in the story use.
Characters call him Tsukasa and Tsukasa senmpai, but for her Rindou and Rindou-senpai.
So that's that.
Anon, most characters in the story use Tsukasa to refer to Tsukasa Eishi. Even fucking Rindou does.
On the other hand, most characters in the story use Rindou to refer to Kobayashi Rindou. Off the top of my head, I think only Azami hasn't.
And again, manga readers and anime watchers will more often than not defer to whichever (given name or surname) is used more commonly by other characters in the work.
I hope the mangaka won't use too many chapters on this or he will see a far worse drop of the manga polling among JUMP readers.
Nene is garbage as a character and one of the archetype that teenage boys hate the most. Nothing can save that kind of character so I hope Tsukuda waste too much time doing so.
She'll snap out of it once Central jobs.
Maybe it's Erinas mother? But then again if she is alive then that'll mean she's a shit mother for having her daughter suffer being in the grasp of her abusive husband and I don't think Yuto will have the guts to have Erina to not only bear with 1 but 2 terrible parents.
Also forgot to mention that Erinas mother could have a brownish-blonde hair color which is close to Erinas honey-blonde hair scheme which is why it's dark colored from the mangas POV instead of white like Erinas
Souma inspired me to be the man I am today.
And of course Somei and Megishima get absolutely nothing
Author couldn't be bothered to give a few speaking lines to them until just recently and the anime team can't be bothered to give any speaking lines for this OVA
Already setting up his own deathflag, I see.
They originally wanted nothing to with it until they saw how popular it was getting and how attention casanova (translating group) was receiving from translating it
So they ran casanova out and took over Shokugeki
>Ch 208: Soma cooking + flashback
>Ch 209: Judging/eating + foodgasm
>Ch 210: They announce the winner,
But wait, they still don't taste the sauce yet. Continue in the next chapter
What will be your reaction?
So Megishima is most likely a noodle expert (Ramen for sure at least)
Nene and Soma have to make Soba and Megishima was paired up with Soma during the first round
How fucked is Nene right now?
Seems like the fight against curry let some serious scar
Yes but Megishima and Isshiki are allowed to help him
Just like Soma is allowed to help Megishima or Isshiki etc
I really don't like the literal brainwashing Azami's lesser underlings go through, I know he's the ultimate mastermind edgelord but it would have been pleasant to see people simply resigned to follow his orders because they're scared of being expelled and too afraid to take a stance against him.
The cooking part of the manga is shit because the mangakas glosses over how the characters physically make the food. The only time I was truly invested in the cooking was when Soma-kun was rushing in that 200 dish trial.
Everything else is just character interactions, thicc bitches, and the foodgasms that are sure to grab the readers attention but not for the right reason.
Saiba's flashback is an example of boring shit that offered nothing to entertainment or the narrative.
>they actually put the jobbers behind bars
Couldn't they just, you know, not agree to that?
Isshiki confirmed for trying to press Megumi into being a laborer.
She has a ryoukan to go back to Isshiki. You know this.
>Absolutely Perfect Judgement
Totally not sketch at all
There are three matches, but each cook on each side is allowed to help his teammates.
Gin did explain this.
The E10's failing will be going at it alone for the most part, while the rebels will pool their strengths.
My theory is Souma gets carried through the first round by the ex-elites somehow, whilst both of them lose because they were focusing on helping Souma too much
According to Souma it took some convincing to get Megishima to help so he'll probably fuck off and do his own thing and maybe help a bit here and there. I can see it with Isshiki, although there is definitely something going on between him and Nene that they're not revealing yet. Like maybe he's actually better than her but he let her have the 6th seat for w/e reason and she's butthurt he held back or something and he'll show his true power or some shit this match.
I don't see any of the rebels throwing this match, but I do see that scenario happening later on.
It fits. You have to remember Rindou is supposed to seem like a goofy idiot 99.99% of the time when she's not blatantly the final boss
She's also the Japanese VA for Widowmaker
>Rindou might end up being the final boss, but she's not "supposed to be".
I mean we have legit a three chapter flashback which shows us Young Jouichirou and he's literally just Rule 63 Rindou
I follow WSJD threads all the time and I've never seen digital colored chapters being uploaded. I want to archive them, I don't wanna search a mountain of posts to grab pages one by one.
As for colored chapters
Any chapter that is labeled as 99.1 etc is colored
Obviously it isn't very complete and I have no idea if it uses official translations
>greasemonkey scripts don't let you download from this site
Oh well, at least I don't have to sift through posts and just download one page at a time (or is there a better method?) really appreciate it.
But does this mean no one has all the colored chapters? It's just floating out there somewhere?
>ywn you draw your opponent's specialty.
It's been a while since we had a decent batch of reaction faces.
What do you think Somas Mom does?
Why does everyone hate her again?
Reminder that the difference between Asura and Rindou is that Rindou met her waifu before highschool, not after
Here's a better picture, look at the similarities and not to mention that she was the only person who's face wasn't shown except for those 2 men which is already suspicious if you think about it.
Again, it's not impossible, but it would mean Erina is batting a thousand on shitty neglectful parents. Since Senzaemon is her legal guardian, and she is his heir, if Erinamama were alive that would mean she was disowned and stripped of legal custody of her daughter.
That's what I thought as well, but it seems like each chef will make one part of a three-course meal.
The odd part is even if this were the case, a there course meal generally goes Appetizer > Main Course > Desert
Since Soba is a soup, it'd generally go in the Appetizer, but could also be made to be a main course, but they have it in the desert place.
Unlike the red v white practice which does work the way you describe, the regiment de cuisine features each chef as both head and sous chef. Gin explained it several chapters back.
Isshiki may or may not also come from a traditional Japanese restaurant.
It's not that he was around, it's that he went pants on head retarded to force a rematch with Souma that Souma couldn't possibly lose, and it took two/two and a half months to play out. While all the other characters people like were being shoved completely off panel and ignored.
>someone should make doujins where Rindou swallows.
Why would you confirm such a major point on Twitter?
>I always strive for equality, it's in my nature
>part of an organization that is as unequal in stature from the plebs to patricians as possible
this manga is fucking retarded, how can you retards stand it?
Tsukuda talks a little too much about story stuff on twitter honestly. I do remember him deleting one tweet though, where I can only assume a wsj editor told him to stop.
There's some stuff I appreciate though, like the time he explained why the first years were seated the way they were at the leaf viewing festival.
It's not like every reader goes on the author's twitter. If he wanted to make things clear there had to be a way to include it in the manga. Probably thought about it later on in the publication and it was already too late by then.
I'm pretty sure it's going to come up at some point. He mentioned something to the effect that his mother's death was an important part of why Souma's personality is the way it is.
But quite frankly, someone asked if she was alive on twitter, and he answered. That's how this happens on his twitter. A fan asks a question and he just gives the answer. It's not like he brought it up out of nowhere.
>A fan asks a question and he just gives the answer. It's not like he brought it up out of nowhere.
I figured that much, but answering in the first place just seems a bit weird to me.
Looking back I think understand it better. Winners are also allowed to keep battling, right? If it's that way then Tsukuda put himself in quite a difficult scenario.
