What do you mean? Honestly I thought S2 was better than S1 because there was more plot development.

But there is the fact that after the activation of Jormungand there really wouldn't have been much story. I just miss it because HCLI under Koko had so much characterization that I loved all the characters.

Well yeah I have the same reasoning. Like I said in >>154524171 other than a few OVAs showing the new world there really isn't anywhere the anime could go. Once all war stops HCLI, at least Koko's division, is useless. they showed how Kasper would react but Koko had nowhere to go.

I also know the anime is the entirety of the manga so the studio had nothing left to work with. I just wish the manga was longer so the anime could be longer. The HCLI group is honestly very fun and they give off a family vibe.

HCLI had great characters, Lutz was a great character because of his resistance to violence against non-combatants, Valmet had great backstory with Karen, all the characters had great writing and personalities.

The show's ending (in chronological order) of Haruhi was fine, almost feel-good, but the movie's ending got me somewhat fucked up.
Spinoff wasn't what I hoped for either.
