The 19th volume came on sale yesterday which should provide us with official scans.
I think the ch98 ebook will come out in april.

It's a money problem. Maybe if studios could successfully crowdfund gobs of money from fans, then insure each other to protect the industry from bombs, maaaaybe anime could get away from TV station subsidies. As is, they need to cut corners on TV productions to meet budgets which assume (correctly?) that anime is either niche or a gangbusters kids' show.

IMO, CG Berserk's biggest problem wasn't the CG, but the sound direction. Shitty music direction in the first episode, aluminium sword, crappy ambiance.
