I have a love/hate relationship with this website. Hate because it's shit, love because the reason it's shit is the same reason why modern anime is shit.

When you look at old anime (where the authors actually looked to the outside for inspiration) they often wrote characters, stories and events that made sense. Later on some people started noticing patterns and called them tropes or clichés. We went from event to cliché. Later anime (a lot of it written by the first and second generations of otaku) simply copied a lot of these plot points and characters, and we went from cliché to story. Archetypes replaced characters. TVTropes sucks for more or less this reason: it starts with this catalogue of clichés and then shoehorns as much as possible into this box (look at the Akame ga Kill page, and notice how many people of Night Raid are classified as "the girl" of the group. How the fuck can you be "the girl" when the majority of the team is female? Shoehorning, that's how!).

TVTropes is not a source nor an argument, especially when talking about a series like KonoSuba that to a certain extent goes against the grain.
