You know, almost all the anime I watch (and almost all the anime loved by /a/) is full of strong women. Many of the shows and manga we like have strong female characters, and some only have female characters. It seems like feminist types should love anime and manga but they seem to attack it more than any other media (besides maybe vidja, which does have plenty of strong female characters as it is). Why is that? Is it really just because anime and manga show strong female characters who are also pretty sexy all around? Or something else?

So instead of a campy sports/battle shonen anime with strong female characters that pokes fun at fanservice and ecchi shots by being over the top and treating it as being inoffensive in-universe, SJWs see Vaccum Butt Cannon, Hip of Babylon, and K-Acceleration as just superpowered porno moves, because they're missing the context.
