About three weeks ago Raildex threads went full >sanity

because of speculation about an announcement that's scheduled for this weekend. Kamachi said it's a 'big project for 2017' and a lot of anons took that as meaning a potential third season of Index.

So following up this, some anons began getposting, hoping to channel the same kind of energy /pol/ used. Meme magic. Using gets as fuel in the hope of altering the reality of the universe so that Index III would be made.

It'll either die down after this weekend if Index III isn't announced or it'll become a permanent fixture because we will have meme'd Index III into reality.

Why it happened is anyone's guess. But it's been a great few weeks.

Meme magic is GETs and the belief of Kek, an ancient Egyptian Chaos God that apparently toke the form of a frog. /pol/ used the power of Kek (in the form of Pepe/Sad Frog) and memes to make Brexit happen and elect Trump as president against all odds. We figure that, since 2017 is year of the meme, we should give it a shot too.

This is a result of slowly lost sanity since the Index 10th year anniversary bait-and-switch a few years back, where they announced Heavy Object instead of Index 3, despite hyping Index for months. Also, people were constantly depressed and mobile-poster was ruining everything, so people just wan't to be excited and relive old Raildex stuff and take their threads back.

It's been mostly a positive thing, as we are generating new content again. Sergio is having a stream of Raildex stuff tomorrow. Unlucky revived and is thinking of continuing to write. Index Manga is almost past the point season 2 left off. Everything is looking up, for the first time in years.
