Did a lot of contemplating. Price was crazy but I really wanted it.

Looking back now I did the right choice. The original one without the metallic base now goes 35-45k yen when it was around 20-25k yen back then.

The wonfes one is definitely more expensive but I personally found the golden guns to be too tacky.

There is a huge selection of Proxy services. Most of them will have outdated interfaces, poor communication, or non-competitive pricing.

Zenmarket is pretty good. 300 yen per item which is good if you are only getting a single expensive item. They are able to handle preorders such as the Amakuni exclusives on Hobby Japan. They are able to undervalue but charge you a small % insurance fee for doing so.

But if you've done forwarding before then feel free to go with that. I actually haven't tried to register an account on Hobby Japan so it may be easier than I assume.

Alternatively Big in Japan and Nippon Yassan order some of these exclusives for relisting on their site and might put her up. Their price will be higher than msrp since you are effectively using them as a proxy.
