Fuu's dad who abandoned her and her mom and went into hiding so she wanted to go knock his block off. Turns out he was involved in the Christian movement which was banned at the time and was why he was currently in hiding. The government was trying to stop them from meeting him and to kill him because they were worried their meeting could spark a revival of the movement and an uprising or something.
