I'd think not being able to choose that stage of power would actually be easy mode. Usually the farther along your partner basely is in Digimon the less feats they get to pull. Not to mention that there's not NEARLY as many evolution opportunities the higher you go. Especially at that level.

But that said: Renamon
Not even for the idea of furfaggotry but because Rukis Renamon constantly got bodied so hard in Tamers that when given the opportunity I might as well make it interesting and try to make one that isn't a complete embarassment that goes on about being strong then getting bodied by the Digimon of the week.
