I dunno, I think it depends on how it's done. If its Okuyasu and Josuke helping out in the fight I can see it working as a finale - especially if Yukako gets built up a bit beforehand. But yeah, it seems weird to leave it off with her instead of stretching out the extra thirty minutes it'd take to do RHCP - especially if they're cutting surface and the lock out for time.

I wish the first movie would go as far as the RHCP fight, but if that's not possible, at least expand the arc in the sequel and place some of the fights before it (like Rohan) so that it can be the final fight.
I think the Akira fight deserves to be in a movie's climax, especially since it's the end of an arc, and from there on nobody has much to do until Rohan finds out there's a serial killer in Morioh.

I can see I Am An Alien being cut entirely if they also skip the tower arc. In fact, I'd consider it to be very likely that both will be.

Besides that I think you might be mostly correct, stuff like Rohan's House/Ghost Alley/Cinderella would work as a subplot to the main plot and the last four or so arcs for the third one are basically all just one long stretch of plot anyway.

They need to do at least two enemy stand users after Atom Heart Father to maintain the illusion that Kira's dad is actually trying to turn people on the gang and have spread out Kira's scenes leading up to the finale.

And I can't really see them cutting Joseph considering how critical he is to the entire RHCP fight, but I could see them maybe having his resolution be rushed in at the end of the first film with him leaving right there and Achtung Baby being skipped afterwards.

Personally though I just really fucking want the second film to end on the shot of Kira crossing paths with the gang outside the diner and smirking as they fail to recognise him.

The first half of your statement is correct, but I'd say Part 4 is overall stronger than part 6 which got a little too nutty with some of the Stands. Part 4 was tighter with Stand usage and kept things in line. Part 5 was batshit with how some of the Stands worked (such as Gold Experience and it constantly developing new powers), but it worked because most of the fights were done really well.

Come to think of it, Josuke vs Yukako could be an interesting match up as Love Deluxe's whole gimmick is absurd power and reach. Crazy Diamond's regular Stand ability wouldn't be of much use apart from getting the projectile hairs off of Josuke, so they'd have to use the environment and other tricks to close the gap between the combatants.
