I liked the originals and to be honest expected much more out of the season. No plot and the fact that Akko is permanently shit at magic got old real fast. That being said I still like a bit, the characters are not that shit, but even then I can't say it's a good series. Shame they fucked it up.

Gabriel is the funniest.
Rakugo and ACCA have been the most interesting, although the latter is slower than I would have liked.
Maid dragon, I suppose it's the cutest and comfiest.
Youjo Senki has some decent action, and I like the fedora loli.
Everything else hasn't really been notable in my opinion, I've been enjoying my backlog more.

If they had good taste they'd be able to justify it. LWA has a great soundtrack and that's about it.

Nothing happens in it. It's been completely repetitve and formulaic for weeks. I don't mind episodic series, but you you have to have really fun situations with likeable characters. I can't remember what happened in what episode because it hasn't gotten me to care about anyone.

It's so bad compared to the original OVA.

Stuff like Maiddragon or Gabriel is entertaining enough, but to say they're nothing you haven't seen before would be the understatement of the year.

For me, Kemono Friends. It's cheaply-made but they have handled the material competently. It could have devolved into cliche, but they've managed to keep it fresh, and have told the story well.

I think the creators are doing something interesting, and they're doing it well considering the low budget. As a rule I'd rather not have 3d animation, that's probably my only real concern.

It's a good example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. This is unlike some series like Captain Earth, which ended up being middling, despite having a lot going for it.

It's good but it just hasn't blown me away. First three episodes were my favorite ones so far.

Plot isn't exceptionally clever at any point so far. Animation is okay, but not really great.
