The act of hitting a drum is perceived as more implicitly violent and less subtle/refined (and therefore more masculine) than the more subtle finger movements required when playing a more "gentle" and "refined" instrument like a Piano, Guitar, Clarinet, Violin, etc
Because drummers are always portrayed as the clunky, brutish one, even outside of anime. The drummer is almost always the dimwitted fat dude that provides comic relief. Its just a stereotype with some truth in the fact that you don't really need any music knowledge to play basic rock, as a drummer myself I acknowledge that at a simple level a drummer doesn't need to be smart with music, any dipshit can hit stuff with sticks. That said, the great drummers are so much more than that, and are very intelligent musically and the way they play reflects that
You were saying?
We're looking for good drummers, not some shit drunk from texas.
>all these boys
>not posting Moe Tucker, the greatest drummer of all time
Ritsu is best girl but Brann is best boy
