A few episodes are legitimately hilarious, but it all gets ruined by the horrid fujoshi pandering and certain jokes being completely run into the ground (character nicknames in particular). The 80s series is much better.

I've watched all kinds of comedy anime before and after Osomatsu-san, but none have had that effect of making me laugh to the verge of tears like Osomatsu-san did a few times. But I don't know if I'm easily amused or am in the minority when it comes to what I like in comedy.
