Do we even want it to? I love the original SK and all but flowers didn't seem to live up to it honestly.

Why can't they bring back the original VAs, though? You can't copyright a voice actor.

I think the author wanted the inserts and the OP/ED more since I remember reading years before he was asked for a remake, that if there was ever a remake he'd hope they could get one of those songs to play.

I'd like to know this as well, usually Japan is good at bringing people back from the grave to do some voice acting.

It's 90s/early 00s shonen, man. This was back in the days when tournament arcs weren't quite yet a subject of memes and ridicule. I feel like it's a forgivable offense.

I mean, it's not like Negima, which had TWO fucking tournament arcs in the course of its run. By the time the first tournament arc rolled around, tournament arcs really weren't in vogue anymore.
