I mean for fucks sake, manga is monthly and yet it was such a dynamic fight there. And here they were constantly interrupting it for something they could have left for next episode or just place it in the different time in-episode. And it was the only thing I was hyper about this season since there won't be Illuminati. And the worst thing is they padded some scenes with annoying crying or some no-movements scenes.

Adaptation. The arc was a high-point of the manga seeing loads of character development and story progression.

I knew this adaptation would be shit from the get-go when episode 1 shuffled around events which wound up cutting out two really good character moments in an effort to rush things along.

Starting from this arc he begins to show signs of developing demonic powers, becoming increasingly paranoid and desperate to awaken them due to his inferiority complex. Far as I can remember, he hasn't quite gotten there yet.

Rin and Yukio's eldest brother, Lucifer, big-bad of the series, also expresses interest in recruiting Yukio, claiming that he can "Save" him and awaken his powers.

Where should I start with this series? People told me season1 goes full anime original halfway through.
