What does Yamato's dad even do, anyway? He appears to be a man who values connections and also has some incredibly archaic beliefs and standards which ultimately make him seem like kind of a fucked up individual in modern society, and a few characters seem to hold him in very high regard. But what does he actually DO? We don't even know any of his connections. Based on comments, he doesn't seem to have any real friends in the Kawakami Dojo or the Kuki Clan.

I did not dislike it, I liked it the least. As you said it is really "normal", and is a lot more easygoing than other routes. I like the aspect of seriously loving someone and Chika's route lacked intensity for me, I get that some people would find it refreshing instead but I feel it was superficial.
