I hoped that Erza is actually half-dragon and her father was a dragon too. Instead her father is some noname general.
I was also hoping that Lucy's mother joined Dragons to help them stop Aknologia but she just opened the door got sick and die.
I had hopes that she would later reveal herself showing that she is some kind of Star dragon
