All the characters are cool and interesting, even the villians have real motives. The plot is kinda dramatic, but its ok. And the romance is really well done. Best girl won in the end, and there was a confession and kiss, though they died later.

It was good until Wild Hunt showed up and pushed the edge factor too far. Sitting through that shit for months put a bad taste in my mouth. The Jaegers were cool because they had proper motives and a sense of humanity to them, which made their deaths more meaningful. No, they were compatible yes, but Schere didn't join Night Raid because she wanted to help people. Go read the manga again. Only reason Night Raid didn't go after her was because the people she murdered just happened to be the type that were on Night Raid's hit list to begin with.

When she murdered those people she was happy because it was something she was really good at. She didn't really care why she had killed them or who they were, she just considered murdering people a good thing if she was good at it. Had she been contacted by The imperial army and praised by them, she would have joined them as quickly as she joined Night Raid.

Everyone in Night raid were trash, but Schere was even the sort of trash that Night Raid claimed they went after. But they didn't, they just did it because "reasons".

Then they decide to execute the child emperor, I.E a child because ... peopel might be angry and wanted revenge? In other words it is okay to murder people for political gain... but this was the very reason they overthrew the old government because the Prime Minister murdered people for his own gain.

In the end nothing became better. The Prime Minister was slowly tortured to death by random people that hated him because... it is okay to do these things now? Because that sort of thing doesn't signal to people that it is okay to act in the same manner as the Prime Minster if YOU think it is okay?
