The coordinators (SEED) and Akito from Nadesico are the only ones going "hey this is a shitty thing to do to people". Athrun (SEED) makes most of the women bi except maybe Ersha but I haven't seen anything proving or disproving. Shinn hates normas not out of racism, but as being nasty people.

-Ange's escape arc happens all in one ep, she just teleports Vilkiss to Mitsurugi, Tusk saves her (BTW face in vagina jokes are cut) and no she does not wear the prisoner outfit
-Angels from Rebuild might be normas too given how dragon screams don't affect them (or maybe AT Fields have similar mana busting properties), also they attack in pairs save for Sahaquiel.
-Mana is made of getter rays (Getter Robo Armageddon), unconfirmed whether pure rays or pussified/altered given how they were absorbed by reptiles
-While rescuing Ange from the gallows, Ruri verbally bitch slaps Julio's authority; good guys completely destroy the kingdom's defenses and the civilians witness dragons about to attack them. During this Akito saves Hilda from police brutality off screen

Technically they weren't with the Underground Empire specifically, they were helping the Mycenae Empire revive and Baron Ashura was playing spy himself under Dr. Hell's nose. Plus it was obvious early in game the invaders were being reduced to old worn down metalbeasts (why the hell was the rotten one mass produced?), Ange killed off so many dragons that they got desperate too, symbiotic relationships are a thing in real life, and dragons probably are not aware of them being cosmic horrors as much as they are wanting to rescue their boss and their men from rotten ass fucks. So for both it was a matter of surviving long term against a semi-common nemesis (humans). I have no idea why Dr. Saotome switched sides though, but given his very inconsistent character I'd be more surprised if he didn't.

I think Saotome caught whatever made Shinji's balls drop and have the Titans (Zeta Gundam) and Full Frontal (Unicorn Gundam) decide to help their enemies. Seeing Jerid and Camille apologize to each other while fighting ZZ Neo Zeon was amusing as fuck.

As someone that likes CA, if anything is gonna sell this game it's Might Gaine. 90s kids in Japan are grown up, trains are huge, it' the first non-GGG yuusha to get in, and it gets the most fanservice (I'm assuming, I never watched anything Yamato). Hell, MG's final boss is the penultimate boss which is a big honor, even overshadowing the fucking Emperor of Darkness (Mazinger) on the same stage

Also Cross Ange is recent new IP from Sunrise right now. I don't know how Sunrise will work themselves to do an OVA or S2. As long as both King Records and Sunrise are happy about doing work together and Nana music sales continue to get better we might see older IP's get reboots or sequels due influence of SRW.
