What happened to you is almost comically unrealistic, but if it did, don't worry, it won't happen often. 141 pounds for 5'8 is not that bad. I've been 120 pounds at 5'7 for 2-3 years now. That's skinny. You think you have problems eating and sticking food down your throat? I have 20 pounds worth of extra food to eventually bulk up to before I even get to your "oh woe is me I'm so skinny" weight. Just think about that. I have to work retarded-hard to get to your starting point. I currently eat 3,000 kals a day, and I'm slowly bulking by adding 100 kals per month. I've actually been working out for about 3 years, but college made it so despite the working out, getting all the kals I need for the day was hard to fit in, so it was physically impossible for me to grow despite all the working out. But I kept working out anyway because it's a lifestyle I needed to adopt. For some reference I used to be 100 pounds, but then sometime in college after starting to work out I got up to 120 and then that's when I was having problems consistently getting all my food in, but I kept working out anyway. Now that I'm done with college though I've been consistently eating all my food and increasing it every month, probably for the past 2-3 months, so I've gained 5-6 pounds and I'm at 125-126. Anyway, as skinny as I am for my height no one has said anything to me, other than the occasional big ass dude attempting to get me to lift 180% my goddamn 1 rep max saying I'll never build enough muscle with only lifting what is currently 70-85% my max, and me insisting the only reason I haven't been making any gains is because of food.

Not really. I'm pretty happy with my life and have been pretty reasonable, rationally, and fair to people around me. Though I'm guessing you're going to hold on to the fact that I wrote "woe is me" and "I have to work retarded hard" as signs that I'm not happy, or some lame shit like that. And the fact that I phrased it as a question like "hurr you think you have to work hard?" But lifting and getting bigger is only one aspect of my life, and I actually really haven't had any problems or issues with consistently doing it and always working towards better my strength patiently even if I had problems making food quota because of collegiate studies-, it's never really psychologically affected me. I was just getting at the fact that OP could be a lot worse off, imagine if he had that insecure attitude but started with 40 pounds less on him. Just a way to indirectly cheer him up, is all.
