Could be that she remembers EoE and came from the LCL and then learns all about Seele and joins with them under the pretense that she will help them but all she really wants is to see what happens with an Adam based Instrumentality so that she will have both experiences of Instrumentality to cleanse her soul

She'll probably help Shinjj at the very last moment after she figures out he's special because he's the trigger
