In DC, it's because Superheroes by and large take a non-deterministic approach. They do a job and attempt to let people live their own lives. They make no attempt to influence civilization because that is diametrically opposite of what they stand for. Supervillains want to try and change the world, Superheroes don't.

In Marvel, you actually do see a lot of tech being thrown around. The problem is that Marvel's main continuity (616) is supposed to be the real-world, more or less. As a result, you can't really make sweeping changes to the world without the same thing occurring in our world. Everything that happens in 616 is eventually retconned as the continuity moves forward.

If you want to see cape comics where technology created by a small subsect of people changes the world, then you need to look at the smaller publishers. Invincible, Uber, and others like that delve into this.

I can explain this one, but it will take a bit of reading.

Let me start with Marvel.

Marvel is actually several companies. Marvel Entertainment is different Marvel Comics. They have different people in charge of them, different staff, etc.

However, and for reasons that will becoming abundantly clear, Marvel works in unison like a well oiled machine. When Marvel Entertainment (the original movie division) decided that they should make movies again, they had the comic book writers and artists do pretty much all of the principal labor for constructing the movie universe. They did this because, well, no one knows those characters better than the dudes who have literally spent decades with them. This is an inarguable point.

As time has gone on however, this has changed, but for the most part Marvel (now Disney) still uses the writers and artists to do concepting, storyboards, and to help with the scripts. If they aren't the primary writers anymore, they still assist and supervise.

This is why the Marvel movies are for the most part "good".

DC on the other hand has a bigger problem than Marvel does, which is weird considering Marvel is constantly fighting for control of their property ever since cannibalizing themselves during their IPO. By all right, DC should be doing way better than Marvel but they aren't for one reason and one reason only:

DC and Warner Brothers do not talk to each other.

DC is owned by WB, and WB has zero interaction with DC. This isn't the fault of DC, but rather the fault of WB. WB feels that DC shouldn't meddle with their movies. Since WB owns the properties however they can do whatever they want. This means that they go, find what is the most popular arcs (most people assume they read the wikipedia pages for characters), and then halfheartedly adapt those.

To be honest, Kenshiro has never really killed or brutalized anybody that didn't deserve it. Well, other than Shin who at the time he thought had killed Yuria, and technically he didn't kill him since Shin committed suicide.

Overall, i think it's possible for him to lift the hammer, but I think that maybe being the best practitioner of the deadliest martial arts ever invented would put him out of it.

On the other hand, Toki is a better contender for it...

Nobody really knows yet.

To be honest, I don't even think that Marvel themselves even know what the hell was said. That happened some years ago,and usually something like that would've been revealed within a year.

But so far, we literally have not even gotten a hint as to what was said. In that case, that meant that there was no incentive to ever follow up on that, which means that it's actually possible that when Marvel did this, they themselves didn't even know what Nick Fury said, and just put it in there for Thor to conveniently lose his powers just in time for Jane to get them.
