majority of shows actually have pretty mediocre opening songs, either generic JPop or something that doesn't fit at all

Animators just put together an Opening after reading the synopsis but failing to see that the anime itself is just a generic trashcan full of cliches.

I'm still waiting for someone to make a fantasy satire based on the Tower of Druaga OP & first episode.
