It's full of filler and many scenes have a "repeat" feel to them as if you had read a variation of them in an earlier book in that same series. On of Jordan's problems was that he liked to go over the pages and pad them with lots of adjectives and adverbs. It's reminiscent of the Thomas Covenant series of books.

The author was ill somewhere in the series, so he had ghost writing help. He finally died, so the last few books were written wholly by others.

But Young Justice suffers from certain problems such as fucking annoying main cast of brats for good while of first season. Robin is insufferable prankster, "HELLO MEGAN", all girls are Stacies who want to ride Connor, Connor's one characteristic is that he is fucking angry. But they all went through character developments and became much less so next season. What wasn't fixed is fucking over-complicated keikaku, literally everytime main characters destroy absolutely everything villains have built, out of nowhere shows up Lex Luthor, twirls his mustache and says "all according to keikaku". And you never see his grand fucking masterplan, what the fuck is he even doing. That said, I think season 2 is actually decent and will watch season 3.
