You know what I find odd? Before, prior to Koushirou receiving his analysis program from Gennai, the only source of information anyone had on other Digimon was from their partners. They usually knew who most Digimon were, and also instinctively knew the names of their own evolved forms.

But now, that knowledge doesn't appear to exist, which probably means to reboot wiped it clean. But then, how did they receive that knowledge in the first place? Originally, I assumed it was just instinctive knowledge all Digimon were born with, but apparently that's not so.

Future Mode isn't a Saiyan. It only heals its injuries, it doesn't grow stronger from them. It would just result in an eternal stalemate. No matter what happens, any time Alphamon got hit it would just reverse time. Any time Ulforce got hit, it would heal.

Omega-inForce is also a great counter. In addition to predicting all of Ulforce's moves, it also has the trait of never getting tired and being able to fight at 100% efficiency pretty much indefinitely. In other words, UlforceV-dramon Future Mode would never be able to hurt Omegamon X-Antibody, while assuming All Delete can't out-speed Future Mode's healing factor, it would never be able to do permanent damage.

Just finished loss and not too bad but it's still questionable how much has this reboot effected the Digimon. Normal Digimon like Elecmon I can understand getting it's memory wipped of the Chosen but the Digimon partners were literally made for the kids and them knowing and recognizing them and instantly bonding is in their coding and that cannot be reset. Piyomon being warry of Sora was annoying and made no damn sense.

And then there is Gennai somehow turning dark and beimg rappy and Hime and Daigo being appart of the kids before Taichi and the others but didn't they fight Apocalymon and not the Dark Masters? I mean the Sovereigns faught the Dark Masters and lost before the kids arrived according to the novel.

Also why is Hackmon deflecting from the Royal Knights because Yggdrasil went cra-cra again? Didn't Gankoomon teach him this shit happens from time to time? Then agaim Gankoomon doesn't get involved with the other knights too much. You know what this movie raised more questions than answers.

Also the Adventure kids could always evolve their digimon to Ultimate on their own they've just never been in a situation where it was needed. But even then it was established long ago that if they really needed to they could have. 02 kids on the other hand just aren't strong enough to do it, which is why they use joggress.

Dramon Killers and Grey Shield are just cooler than the Dramon Breaker. Dramon Killers are especially cool in Tri, where it can flex and maneuver its claws like fingers and can just do all sorts of neat shit. I also prefer MetalGarurumon over Z'dGarurumon because having hidden weapon systems all over your body is just cooler than having a blatant giant cannon on your back.

Just in terms of concept, I think Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon are just far more interesting than any of their counterparts, both visually and in how they move.

The crests don't exist anon, they were a false lead. The Adventure kids never needed the crests to evolve their digimon past Perfect because that was already their power to begin with. In fact they're not even using the crests in Tri. Adventure kids always had that power within them.

Joggress wasn't replacing crests, it was just there to make up for the fact that the 02 kids were naturally weak.

The definition of jogress comes from other parts of the franchise.http://wikimon.net/Evolution#Jogress_Evolution. Common sense should also tell you this. The Adventure kids and Ken all had their own natural Perfect and Mega lines, but for the 02 kids their natural mega lines were the ones that they attained through jogress.

Taichi and Hikari apparently had qualities in them that Homeostasis found special, and they used those qualities as the basis for the other six Chosen. The eight Digimentals were prepared based on those very quests derived from the second.

If Daisuke and Veemon were "killed" by Alphamon, that gives the writers the perfect exucse to reset Veemon's evo line once they return. Ken's gone nuclear and (presumably) doesn't need Daisuke to access Imperialdramon.

Despite being so disappointing, I'm really happy Tri expanded upon the previous chosen children plotline. It has always bothered me how Adventure just mentioned that in the last episodes but never touched it again. Hopefully the next movie tries to do the same to the Dark Ocean.

It's like how Lucemon is a Child-level Digimon with power surpassing most Ultimates. The stage in which a Digimon is only an indicator of its level of growth, and not necessarily its power. Omegamon is a Super-Ultimate because it's at a stage higher than Ultimate, but it's only even with Alphamon which is only an Ultimate, because it evolves from a Perfect.

Digimon have never been forced to follow a set evo line. It's simply whatever the tamer and mon feel comfortable with. Mimi and Yoshi have two different digimon, yet they both end up with Rosemon. Mega forms aren't always exclusive to one evolution line. Even an Agumon can become an Ulforce.

Even if Ulforce gets confirmed, I don't expect him to do anything than job to the final villain so that the 01 kids or Omegamon's new form can get the kill.

Just because they always work together during fights and are pretty much best friends in their private life doesn't mean they HAVE to have their character development arcs at the same time.

So I just counted and if I didn't miscalculate something in here then the last episode of this movie was around 5:40 of just evolution sequences. Add to that 1:30 of the OP and ED and we end up with a whoping 8:40 of just sequences and OP/ED. That's around 40% of the entire episode.

I REALLY fucking hope that they skip the evolutions we've already seen for future episodes. This is getting out of hand and obviously just to burn some time.
