Tsuneki is trashier, but this too has its own appeal. It's not like the anime made her an actual slut throughout her arc. The real problem with her arc was not her character - which was actually fun - but how they ruined it with such a horrid ending.

Tooru's arc had an entirely different problem: it was simply boring. And it amazes me how they made a gamer girl of all people the most boring heroine thus far. Even Kyouko seems more fun than her.

It was better, but better is not an achievement here. It's been a while since a show made me rage as hard as Seiren.

However, it still wasn't good. I didn't like Tooru as much so that contributes to it. Maybe if you end up liking her, you will enjoy it more.

I'm looking forward to Kyouko's arc who has been my favourite from the beginning. I doubt it will be able to save the show though. Seiren won't be remembered fondly.

This show isn't even bad, it's just incredibly boring, a complete chore to watch.

In Amagami SS and KimiKiss, the protagonists weren't alpha males or anything, but they were confident in what they wanted and took strides to get it. Here in Seiren however, the protagonist is a hapless retard that ambles around being a degenerate until a girl from the cast (all of whom are sluttier and yet more bland than all of the girls from the previous series) decides to glom onto him.

I find it incredibly difficult to watch anymore of this.

I hate making studio generalizations, especially when this is a co-production as well, but I've always felt like Gokumi weren't up to task for Seiren. Maybe the blame falls on the CAD or the other animation directors, but it seems like they can never keep character proportions consistent, which is odd enough when there's not much animation in the first place.

They should stick to Saki or shows like KinMosa and Pandora where everybody's just a tiny fat blobby creature when it comes down to it.
