I liked the manga when I first picked it up at age 13 or so, and then I stopped liking it after the super-forgeries arc, and now looking back I'm pretty sure it was never good.

The manga is a lot better. The ending (last 2-4 chapters or so if I recall) is extremely rushed however and just sort of happens unfortunately.

The artist had a kid so it went on hiatus for like a year, and when it finally resumed you could kind of tell she just wanted to end the series asap.
