Its refreshing to see a story actually told from the perspective of an immortal. Most series with immortal characters just flat out say, this guy is immortal and he's been alive for ages, and leave it at that as if it's supposed to be impressive to just have immortality be some shitty character trope with no real bearing on the story.

A real story about an immortal would have them experience the death of their acquaintances time after time and would be about them traveling the world like this thing is.
