Even if Robot somehow sucks away 3/4 of Haikyu's audience, it would still sell 250k per volume, there's no way it would die. Hell, Haikyu survived running alongside an already established Kuroko for its first 2 years when it was still struggling and didn't have an anime or good sales. At its core, though, I'd call it a sports series.

I think Ole Golazo is the last casualty this round. Of the series people keep saying could end soon,

Gintama is probably ending this year but can't wrap up for months given that so many major characters haven't contributed to the final arc yet, the Shinsengumi especially.

Hinomaru will need about two dozen more chapters altogether for the final match and epilogue if it's really ending after this arc.

Gag manga are a bit harder to tell since they can end much more quickly, but both Samon and Number One raws last week showed no hint of ending soon.

Samon will have 14 chapters uncollected into tankoban next week, that's too many for 1 volume and 2 little to spread out between 2, it needs 3-4 more weeks after next week's chapter. Not to mention it's getting 2 color pages in a row. Also the author set up a clear endgame, that this was the story equally of how Tesshi fell into hell, and of how Samon and Anri stopped being a couple and became friends, neither plot thread has been touched upon in the past few weeks. In fact it recently introduced a new character who has gotten 2 focus chapters within the last 10 weeks.

And Number One just added another new character to its cast last week after already doing so 2 weeks before. Jump editors tell authors weeks in advance if they're getting the boot, so unless this author is stupid, they wouldn't be introducing new characters 2 weeks in a row so close to the end.

they have been pushing that after One Piece, HQ, BnHA and BC are the biggest 3 titles, you can see that clearly in One Piece joined covers from earlier this year and Kochikame ending celebrations

it should be HxH then Hq then BnHA
heck, SnS, WT, Gintama and even fucking Boruto are bigger than BC

I actually kinda like We Never Learn so far. For a series that's going for the whole multiple love interest thing it's a breath of fresh air to see the competition on an even playing field. By that I mean there isn't a one shot that basically spoils the whole thing or like a main girl that's super pushed and there wasn't a chance for anyone else to begin with. There hasn't been one in a while that I've seen.

I want it to last. At least until it shows a single sign of going the irreparable route. Anyone know if new student is a dude? I'm hoping they didn't already introduce another girl though they kinda did with MC's sister.

Don't quote me on this, but from what I have heard what jump focuses on is what makes people buy the magazines rather than focusing on what sells the most volumes.
If Black clover constantly ranks well it means that BC makes people buy the magazine.
Even if the manga volumes don't sell well if it makes people buy jump they will keep it around.
Usually if a manga ranks well the volumes sales will reflect that, but in BC's case where it is probably popular with younger kids it will probably sell less well then a manga that is popular with teenagers who probably have their own money they can spend rather than kids who will have to ask someone to buy it for them.
I could be completely wrong, but this is what I have gathered from what I have heard some people day in these threads which are honestly not the best sources.

I really want to believe that he's using this time to choreograph the last two Rank War matches. It can't be a small task to live up to the hype of writing and coordinating Hyuse, T2, and a roster of pre-established opponents in a way that's fresh yet consistent.

I enjoy Saiki, but it's hard to get excited about it when most of the new scans are of stuff I already watched in the anime. Same with Samon in the sense that the release schedule for that is so slow too.

Soma and Kimetsu are OK, but I'd rather read those in short binges than follow it on a weekly basis.

Biggest ones were the rigid art style, the bloated cast watering down the characterizations, and the fact that the battle system nullified a lot of the sense of the life threatening "danger" or "risk" that would've otherwise been there if the Trion Bodies or the Bail Out weren't in place.

I agree with the first two to an extent, but I can deal with the character designs and the toned down characterizations don't bother me much. But I don't really agree with the last one since plot armor is inherent to pretty much every shonen series. Giving it physical form doesn't take anything away from me, and watching how, not if, T2 would win each rank war was where I draw the suspense.

Your second paragraph pretty much summarises what I wanted to say after reading the first but I wanna reiterate.

I think the simple art style ensures that the battle sequences are easier to follow. If it were too flamboyant, I guess it wouldn't have been as easy. And regardless of the simplicity, the art is pretty clean and crisp so I don't really have a problem. Regarding the large cast, I agree that it might be quite difficult to keep track of them at first, but when you really get into the series it becomes easy. Also, the series has just had like 160 chapters so there is still time for Ashihara to flesh out some of the major characters. In fact, some of them have really good characterisations even now. Regarding the life threatening risk, I think it's better this way. He has designed the story in such a way that there is no risk rather than having the MC/MCs having an impossible near death situation (which is quite frequent in other series). I think that such a risk isn't a necessity to make a series suspenseful. Ashihara has done a splendid job at making me eagerly await the next chapter.
