As long as she had grief seeds to remove the curse from her soul gem then she could control time. If it were unlimited then she could have probably taken Walpurgis like you said. It's just that Pfle wasn't using a made up word, so translating it as "invest e-gater" might make the readers think it's Pfle's character quirk (inappropriate jokes), rather than just 7753 being shocked at what she just heard. So a formal and unusual word such as examiner/scruntineer/prober would work well, I think.

She went to B-City thinking it's a regular baby-sitting and didn't choose to remain in the barrier, yet the fanfiction intentionally wrote that Pfle had given her a choice, with time to reconsider, and she chose to remain inside the barrier.

This is not a simple translation mistake. TL-kun could barely understand nip, but the more detrimental red flag is that he is willing to FABRICATE pages after pages of nonexistent dialogue and narration and events, under the excuse "it convey the same thing." He has no respect for faithfulness and he was willing to lie. If he had been honest, we would have helped him spot mistranslations faster, because the inconsistency would be apparent. Yet he chose to smooth out inconsistencies through LIES, that's why the TL read naturally and took a long time for anyone to notice the truth.
