Has anyone been reading this since it began? Legit curious if such a person exists
Uhmm you might wanna ask Japan

I don't think anyone in the West exists who has followed this from the start. The internet sucked ass pre 2000s.

>tfw usenet logs exist of people discussing Return of the Jedi as it was released

The people who started reading it in the 80's are too old for shonen now unless they're otaku parasites
My dad's been reading it since it was released. He also got me into anime back when Urusei Yatsura was airing. Still have the shitty dvds somewhere.

I need sauce of that.
First taste the west really got of it was the WRYYY meme

>80's are too old for shonen now
isn't that like half the reason for the switch to a seinen magazine? the manga pretty much outlived its own readership.

Certainly not on 4chan, but I'm sure they exist, but it would be very few I suspect since it went in so many directions, anyone who enjoyed it in the beginning, probably would have dropped it with those changes or anyone who liked those changes probably only picked it up after it had been going on for a while
I've been reading it ever since it first got released in Italy, 20 something years ago if that counts.

JoJo's official magazine aside it's hardly Seinen. There are literally WSJ series like HxH that are more adult

seinen isn't a genre.

Why are you fucking asking people on an English-language board that 99.9% 20-/30-somethings if they've been reading a 30-year-old manga since it began? Obviously such people exist, but most of them aren't here.

Yes. In Japan.
