These things are directly related. Miura loses his ground to lie (that he's 'busy because he's working on the anime') once the anime airs. He is forced into a position where he can no longer make excuses; thus, he makes one or two poorly drawn, digitally-composed chapters (with the help of the copy/paste tool, of course!), and resumes his hiatus because he can then renew the "I need rest" lie.
