Do it, it's amazing. Great characters, soundtrack, and writing. Then once you finish that (and maybe catch up with the manga), if your interested in more of Fukumoto's work, read Strongest Man Kurosawa. It's his best worst

It's not that bad if you're marathoning it. You can't just stop watching and not know whether or not Kaiji gets those pachinko balls into the fucking hole once you're already in that arc. It's the only anime that's ever made my palms sweat a lot, so that has to count for something
