This series had some very okay-ish ideas but it's been stuck in a rut in the translated chapters. The chapters come out so slowly I've lost any engagement I had with it.

As far as the WN goes, no. The original ending involve: Shield losing to bitch goddess and returning to his original world with Tanuki, but then people bitched and the author continued the story.
