I love Outlaw Star so much, but I still find it hilarious that most of the end bosses are dealt with within like, 5 minutes of making their appearance.

That ending was rushed as all hell. It's quite clear they didn't know they weren't getting another season until the last few episodes, so they tried to cram as much as they could in with too little time for development.

Honestly that's a big part of what I loved about Outlaw Star. It was jam packed with a new adventure almost every episode which made it a ton of fun to watch. The world building was top tier.
