Just a quick reminder Nami uses -kun with Sanji in affectionate way.
She dropped it when he broke her heart, but she still uses it when he is not around.
They will make up and everything will go back to normal
Friendly reminder that Sanji ran to Luffy before anyone else. They made up, and everything is going back to normal.
Ok so assuming Bege shot Bobbing whic is the most probably.
What is the trying to accomplish? yeah i know takind down Big Mom, but what purpose has injuring what probably is a simple minion? What is he planning ? he's only exposing himself
I like to think he and Luffy could be friends.
Please, Oda, let it happen.
It is bound to happen. We just have to believe, anon!
He's using the commotion Luffy is causing to silently take down potential pain in the ass. Having the Straw Hats running around causing havoc is pretty much the ideal scenario for him to prepare a takeover. Who knows, he could also have other allies in the family as well.
How do they even find him? He's on a floating restaurant in the middle of nowhere. This is a world where they can't even sail from island to island in a certain percentage of the world without dieing. This is a world where there's a mysterious island that nobody can reach unless they solve a puzzle.
Guys remember how Jinbei took care of Big Mom when she went berserk? How are they going to give her a destroyed wedding cake or a tamatebako box? Everyone on the island will have to fight her, even her most loyals childrens.
>Who knows, he could also have other allies in the family as well.
He could have fucking anyone ready and waiting to spring into action.
Everyone underestimates Bege but they have no idea what he could have up his sleeve.
Well there are four parties acting on the scene: BM pirates, Strawhats, Germa and Capone crew. By process of elimination only Capone's left, unless we have a surprise entree, but that's cheating story-wise.
Capone's fruit with the Germa's technology would be terrifyng, honestly. Could you imagine a single man hosting an army of recycable super soldiers? The man has potential for sure.
>by the time the next chapter comes out, zelda botw will come out
I'm calling it now, it was pic related.
I just like how creative it can be.
>Could you imagine a single man hosting an army of recycable super soldiers?
Loved this. I was like "where the fuck is that"? And it's inside the fucking guy... Really cool.
So, there has been no evidence what so ever that Zeff is in actual danger. Yeah, the villains have told there have been assassins sent to Baratie but we haven't seen them or that Zeff is still in East Blue. Why would Oda omit that? Oda is very "show, don't tell"-type of mangaka. I guess it would be possible that a) the assassins are not alright and b) Zeff and Baratie is not in East Blue anymore. Last time we saw Zeff and Baratie was on the cover story rith them finding out Sanji's new bounty AND the "Only alive"-demand. Could Zeff know something is not right?
Uruoge and Luffy are loose cannons, especially Uruouge. They don't seem to have conflicting interests so an alliance is very probable in the future. Maybe not when taking down the Yonko, but most certainly when Luffy will take down Akainu.
Luffy already has set Kid as his ally against Kaido, making 3 supernovas going up against the drunk Yonko...
On the contrary, he probably has one of the best CoA simply because he can probably go full pic-related, I mean we already know he can become a tank.
It doesn't really matter if the assassins are at the Baratie or not.
Even assuming Big Mom has zero influence outside the New World and can't just hire some killer to do the job, she's not in an hurry to kill Zeff, if Sanji leaves, she can send a somewhat strong member of her crew and it'll be enough.
Also the point is moot because it's not like Sanji would take the risk.
Much stronger. Jack is not particularly strong, Nekomamushi and Inuarashi proved to be stronger than him, faster than him, smarter than him. It's just that Jack has ridiculous ammounts of stamina and endurance, a slow, lumbering beast that can fight for days with slow, powerful hits. Kind of like a mammoth.
Not gonna lie. The worst generation make me hard. Since the timeskip, everytime someone mentioned them it was to hype them up even more. Everyone talks about them, even the Yonkos.
It depends how competent these Germa soldiers are. Conqueror's haki can easily knock out 50k mooks, but of course not everybody has that.
And what is that army supposed to do against a competent logia user? I don't see it as a power useful for facing, say, an admiral. Akainu would just drown them all in Lava.
Admittedly, Akainu is absolute top-tier. But I feel all higher level pirates have ways of dealing with waves of trash.
I suppose Sanji needs actual proof that Zeff won't be threatened anymore and what could be more secure proof than him to see Zeff himself in flesh with his own eyes in front of him.
There will be wedding, but it wont be a wedding with somtone from BM crew taking a charge of SH crew. It wil be the opposite. Pudding who despises the idea of marrying someone not her worth will get a very suitable punishment when she will be forced to marry someone like Zeff, Patti or Carne and BM pirates will be under the SH's. Bride as an insurance and the original plan rill come true, only reversed. And the wedding cake will be had but it won't be the blood and other macabre stuff Big Mom dreams of. It will be actual wedding cake made by the top chefs of the world.
They're the most advanced weapons in the world, and still Zoro/Sanji/Luffy take their 2 year old versions in one hit out like bargain bin fodder.
Sheer numbers aren't useful at against the actual top, who all have their own ways to slaughter massive amounts of people without really exerting themselves.
Shame we're only gonna get to see a fraction of the shit they've done.
They have higher offense than him. Jack has a pretty shit offense, just ridiculous ammounts of defense. That's his true strength. Defense, stamina and endurance. Kind of like the opposite of Cracker.
He started at the same time as them. Don't you remember he was there at Jaya? And they said he raided an island on Drum? He was on the road at the same time as them too. He just wasn't on Sabaondy.
I'm talking low offense and high defense in terms of Yonko Commander+ levels of power, newfriends
She's the mastermind. She resents Mom and has been editing memories of the people around her to get them on her side. The wedding is a double double cross. Pudding plans to use it to take Germa and Mom's places all at once. Probably a lot of Mom's kids are against her in secret. Just look how ready best Mermaid was to drop Mom completely for Aladin.
Everyone is talking about the thread on Zeffs life, but it doesn't really matter at this point. If Big Mom is going to kill the Vinsmokes anyway then it obviously means she can't be trusted to keep her word so they might as well either leave the island and worry about Zeff later or try and take her down in some way. There is also the possibility that Big Mom just doesnt give a fuck at all about the Baratie. She doesn't gain shit from destroying it anyway.
>Urouge, Luffy\Zori and Blackbeard acomplished something noteworty
that you know of
also as far as Yonkou's "bitches" goes.
People said that about Capone but he's running a game on her, no reason it can't be the same for the others.
Cracker is far more destruction-capable than Jack, especially with the Cracker army. Maybe not as good at demolishing buildings, but I'm sure that he can deliver more punishment to more people at once than Jack.
I'm talking Yonko Commander levels of power. I'm sure that Jozu is physically stronger ( mothafukka displayed some crazy ass feats during the War ) than Jack, just not as durable.
> She doesn't gain shit from destroying it anyway.
She doesn't care about that. You anger her, you die. That's how she rolls. Jinbei said she's well known for killing the families of the people who don't show up at her parties.
Maybe. Whitebeard had lost 2 of his 4 highest commanders and was literally dying during Marineford. I know bounty =/= power level but we don't even know Marco's bounty.
>yfw big mom actually kidnapped Zeff to cook for her
>no reason it can't be the same for the others
Of course it's likely that e.g. X-Drake has an agenda when he wants to join Kaidou. The question is how well that goes, see Kid.
Though Apoo is a fucking snitch and it's a bit unfair towards Kid.
It'll send a message to not fuck with Big Mom.
If Sanji comes to the wedding and play his part she wouldn't send assassins to Zeff, but if he escaped she's clearly the type to go mad and order everyone he knows killed.
> Apoo definitely feels like he joined Kaido just because he was scared shitless.
Probably, yes. We don't know if he was working for him before though. I'm sure he's still going to betray him anyway.
Too bad he's gonna be rekt sooner or later.
He's gonna steal the germa tech and take big mom prisoner to use her powers but that will make her children join luffy to get her back.
>take big mom prisoner
how would he even do that? have his men jump her and put giant custom-made seastone cuffs on her?
Actually, what would happen if you put seastone cuffs on bege when he has stuff inside of him?
>but Apoo definitely feels like he joined Kaido just because he was scared shitless
idk about that, you have to remember that apoo attacked kizaru for no reason when he didn't have to
doesn't seem like he's afraid in particular, he probably realizes it's not smart to fight kaidou and has some ulterior motive
Big Mom's family being torn apart with one part joining Luffy's fleet and the other staying with Capone would be a cool change of dynamic, though.
I also want pic related to become relevant again at some point.
>what would happen if you put seastone cuffs on bege when he has stuff inside of him
Probably something like "he can't let anyone in or out" but none of the "the world inside him disappears and everyone is dead" sort.
I mean, Luffy can stretch when submerged in sea water, but is incapacitated. Probably nothing crazy happening here, either.
Kaido is stronger but he's probably dumber too. His boy Jack is a fucking retard. An overpowered retard but still a retard. Bege would've kidnapped Raizo without a single fight.
>Big Mam's crew is a bunch of magicians that rely on DF and shit but are useless when it comes to throwing punches ( except for Cracker, Tamago, Pekoms and maybe that tall commander ).
>Kaido's crew seems to be the opposite of this : Muscle bound thugs that have little to do with intelligence or magic. And Zoans hardly require brainpower in order to use properly.
What if the Vinsmokes are faking it?
Otherwise they're canonically confirmed to be the dumbest group of people in the entire OP-verse. You don't spill all your plans/thoughts/feelings in a mansion of a Yonkou who you know can make inanimate objects alive.
Perhaps they have an ulterior motive which is acting like morons to keep the BM pirates in the dark until they're ready to execute whatever plan.
WITH NO SURVIORS
You're forgetting he's been fighting G4 luffy for a long while.
The form that totalized doflamingo, and nearly split the island apart with 1 enhanced punch.
Cracker applies his sikkk haki to his DF or sword, that's how he fights.
>Vinsmokes know they're being watched by homies
>When the guns roar at the ceremony Big Mom will be the target
>Reiju originally wanted to warn Pudding, thinking she's a good girl
Bobbin was done in by his own brothers, you really think BM's family would be okay with her casually killing them off like that one dude she ganked while enraged? It's civil war! Capone is in on it, probably has backup from another big name or two. Unlike Luffy and Kidd he was able to keep his anti-yonkou alliance a secret.
The main question now is just who might have contacted Capone. He was seen being sucked up into a mysterious object before the timeskip. Enel? Will Crocodile make a showing considering the mafia motif? Is 2017 the year of Kuhahaha and Yahahaha?
2017 is the year of Yohohohoho
It's pretty much these guys who didnt do anything in the dressrosa arc.
God. The fucking tension. How long has this plot device been building up, half a decade? More?
Hajrudin and his crew being alive and well seems a good indicator that Elbaf is fine. Also Jack could be a Half-Giant Half-Fishman hybrid.
Hajrudin already foreshadowed giants with DFs.
Kaido on the other hand is from the island that Oars and Little Oars Jr. came from.
Keep in mind the Croc we saw had nearly zero ambition left, that's what getting wrecked in the New World does to people, just like Moriah. Neither of them even had the necessary willpower to use Haki against Luffy and he only got his mojo back after the jailbreak.
I also want to see Daz Bones with Haki like Vergo had, how fucking terrifying would that be.
I think she's just a runt/dwarf giant, this led to her being outcast/mocked and led to her having a hatred for her own race along with creating a utopia where 'everyone' is accepted. Do you really think that 'growth' serum she wants is for something as silly as ensuring her entire family is the same height? The bitch has a complex and wants to make herself a giant.
>she will never be canon
>that fucking swerve when nami didn't really stab ussop
>This is what Luffy will look like on his death bed at the end of the series after using Gear 2/3/4 all at once with Awakening and a Haki Spirit Bomb
Once everyone's reunited, they'll clearly start pairing the the main characters up with the various introduced commanders and Luffy will work his way up to fighting Big Mom.
Fully expecting a couple of big twists though.
No, no. She wants the Germa supersoldiers because their lack of 'heart' means she can turn them into homies by planting another soul into them. She'll use this to turn the Vinsmokes into enslaved weapons.
Sanji of course will be immune because of his empathy and everyone will learn an important lesson about friendship.
Luffy, Sanji, Bege and Brook vs Big Mam
When Hajrudin was talking about the Mera Mera no Mi during the tournament. He said : "Have you ever seen a giant with a devil fruit ? What an amazing sight !"
>didn't do anything
They were called to specifically do something, did that thing and left
When are they finally going to
Has anyone entertained that it might be Blackbeard coming for Mom's fruit? He has incredible insight & is by far the most opportunistic character in One Piece.
If Luffy manages to wreck her, he wouldn't pass up that opportunity to get Mom's fruit.
I just hope Oda is gonna stay creative enough, instead of resembling Paradise a little too much.
This is and will be a great part of the One Piece story. Next 3 chapters are going to rock our worlds!
better pacing than the punk hazard/dressrosa
I actually don't think Kaido's crew will be half as interesting as Big Mom's
A bunch of edgelord Zoans isn't as interesting to me as Alice in Wonderland giant panspecies family
But Oda doesn't disappoint so we'll see
I think a new cover story will be due soon, it'll probably start in March.
What I wonder is: what would it be about? I think it's high time we see Smoker, Tashigi and G-5 finally reaching Vegapunk.
I think the better question is "who was that person working for." Even if it is Bege, he doesn't seem like the guy who'd be the leader of such an operation.
So, Blackbeard? CP0? Someone else?
>Basil and Apoo are working for Kaidou
>Kidd (and likely Killer) is a prisoner of Kaidou
>Bonney is in the hands of the Marines
>Urouge is above such meaningless squabble
>Drake is rebelling against Kaidou
>Bege has gone into Big Mom's crew
>Law is doing something, but at least he was a Warlord
>Zoro is probably making samurai mad jealous
>Luffy took down Hody and freed Fishman Island from BM's clutches, defeated Caesar and saved dozens of children, defeated Doffy and liberated a country, befriended the citizens of Zou, and openly challenged Big Mom numerous times
>Teach is a Yonkou now
Only half of the Worst Generation is making waves (even then it's mostly Luffy & Teach), while the others look weak.
Solid 8/10 but has potential to be 11/10 if Oda plays it right. The only way I see this arc reaching its potential if it has any reverberating effects on throwing the Yonko stalemate into chaos
It's more like Nami thought Sanji was going to got to her when he saw her but then she realized Sanji wasn't playing. He truly broke her heart. They have to make up now.
Well, they need to at least destroy the wedding. I just don't know how they will prevent Big Mom to kill Zeff. I doubt Oda will kill Big Mom, and if she dies, it will not be Luffy who will kill her.
Leave Big Mom to me
>I just don't know how they will prevent Big Mom to kill Zeff
Beat her up till her eyes turn white.
There's also the "illness" angle, and there has to be a reason why Chopper's in the story.
>big mom gets saved from counter attack by germa 66 through Luffy's attempt to destroy weddig
>big mom and luffy become friends
>zoro goes to a bar and drinks with kaido and becomes friends
>shanks is already friends with luffy
>final fight of liffy vs blackbeard and luffy is losing
>LE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP
>3 yonkou come out of nowhere to help luffy defeat blackbeard
The pleb, I swear...
Imagine the homeowners association rules in a place like sweet city.
I mean shit.
1. your house has to be gingerbread
2. frosting on everything
3. look at that giant cake of babel in the background holy shit.
4. Diabetus like everywhere.
Who would ever live in such a hellhole?
Maybe, but they might instead just try to prevent disaster, and then when things get rough, they'll run. That's how I see things playing out.
I know the whole
>oh BM's a yonkou Luffy DEFINITELY isn't ready
meme is getting old but I do think, considering this is going to be his first real Yonkou experience, things won't go quite as planned and something unexpected will happen, rather than it being the typical OP scenario of
>go to new island, save the people, defeat the bad guy, done
Because while Luffy's and Sakazuki's worldviews are diametrically opposed and there's the small matter of Sakazuki killing Ace, Blackbeard is literally the Anti-Luffy (and he also sold Ace to the Navy in the first place).
Personally I think the final war will be a three-way battle between Luffy and his friends, Sakazuki's Navy and the WG goons, and Blackbeard's empire. The question is just who gets punched unconscious first.
I'm more partial to the idea that WG = control and submission while both Luffy and Teach = freedom, but diametrically opposed interpretations of it. So they could even inadvertently join forces in the chaos of the war against the WG.
I still think the "final battle" will be SHs vs BB pirates though.
Sakazuki just struck the final blow, but Ace died because of Blackbeard. When you add in the mystery behind the Will of the D, it really seems like final arc material in a way that Luffy vs the marines doesn't.
Coby feels like a better opponent for Sakazuki.
It goes beyond a nice throwback when all the emotional content is stale because it's an exact repeat of an arc that we already know the conclusion of, only more nonsensical. We even have characters quoting Robin's storyline almost word for word.
I can only hope that now we've gotten past the obvious stuff the arc will start to immerse me again.
Thinking that the One Piece is the "thing" that is going to make the Nobles fall from their position is what makes me think Sakazuki/WG is going to be the final villain, with Luffy already on the seat of the King of Pirates, and the battle to occupy this seat (against Blackbeard) occuring before this.
A three-way battle is possible, I think. Maybe the battle of Luffy against WG as I said, and Blackbeard trying to overthrone Luffy at the same time.
What if Blackbeard gets there first though? Obviously by the point we know everything and the One Piece has been "used" (in whichever form that takes) the stakes are gonna be a little bigger than who gets to be pirate king
I don't get it. The situation is totally different. You said it yourself, we know the conclusion this time. It's two totally different situation. It was not meant to be a moment as powerfull as Robin's...
I'd absolutely be up for a grudge match where Sabo went for a skull crush, don't get me wrong. Sabo only got angry at Jesus after he started taunting him though and there's not been that same catalyst for fire vs magma 2.0 for now.
But Sakazuki was going to kill Coby if not for Shanks' intervention because Coby tried to stop the war, so he's more of an obstacle to Coby's dream than the marines are to Luffy's.
except luffy doesn't give a shit about blackbeard as much as he does akainu
I agree that akainu isn't the final antagonist and that most likely blackbeard is the final bad, but still, luffy doesn't give a crap about blackbeard
I just don't agree. The motives, the relation between characters, the context, the way it's resolved. Everthing is different. "A strawhats got kidnapped". That's all there's. For example in Robin's case she wasn't acting they had to change her mind. You are way too focused on what's similar.
Eh, we've not seen Coby in a while. I'm not going to argue he was definitely lagging behind Luffy, but who knows what he's been up to since the war. I wouldn't be that surprised if Kuzan was trying to get his revenge and Coby and/or Smoker got involved in it somehow.
He's aware enough of him that Oda said his least favourite food was the pie that Teach was smashing into his face on Jaya. I don't think you're wrong that Luffy doesn't care that much about him right now, but BB's forces attacking Baltigo and thus Sabo isn't going to help and I still think BB is gonna kill Shanks.
Does anyone own OP merch?
t. Lawfag, is this subtle enough
Same reason I never emphatically said 'just watch she's in the book and will bust out the crew'. Sure it was a potential in, but making exact predictions every chapter costs you a lot of theorycrafting integrity.
She has a lot of ins right now for the story, as in how do they get out of there, how they stop the wedding, the bestiary book, who saved Pekoms, what members are in the conspiracy, the Caesar connection, a whole bunch of shit could pull her in, but I'm not going to pick one over another right now because specifics when we don't have the set-up is pointless. Let things play out, all will be well.
If that was going to happen it would have been in the part where the crew was starving en-route to Whole Cake. You know, the one time Nami would have been like 'okay you can eat the tangerines, just be gentle'.
>a hidden past drives a member of the crew to leave
>when confronted by other members of the crew they act violently
>then a flashback of said hidden past where a benevolent figure in their past literally tells them to leave out to sea because they are sure to find nakama who will accept them
>after faced with the realization that the decisions that prompted their leave were meaningless
>in front of their captain they tell them
>i wanna cook/live
And that's fine, except this is the second time this exact situation has played out and it's a lot less coherent then the first time.
People haven't been drawing those I wanna cook panels of Sanji several chapters before it actually happened because they had lots of foresight anon, Oda literally took the same story and pasted it into another arc.
>who saved Pekoms
yeah i bet monet can swim and rescue pekoms and not jinbes crew
BEST GIRL WHEN? EVEN BM DOESN'T DARE TAKE THE TITLE OF EMPRESS.
>except luffy doesn't give a shit about blackbeard as much as he does akainu
except he does. even if it weren't a personal matter, he knows Teach is a man with great will, and the most dangerous rival of him.
The last 4-5 chapters were kind of bad, aside from the Sleeping Big Mom chapter. Everything up until then was great. And I think it'll get better again now that Sanji's out of his rut and Oda's done shuffling around characters.
>BEST GIRL WHEN?
in Wano soon
C'mon anon, I know Sabo's kind of a Gary Stu but he's still much more likeable than Sasuke. Yandere brother beats out "Yeah... sorry." any day.
Well I was gonna say 'mid-air grab' but i went back and turns out there WAS a drawn splash to eh whatever, I haven't read that chapter in eight months, sue me.
>give protagonist a weird power that forces him to use it in odd and creative ways like pic related
>give him powerups that change his fighting style to moving fast and hitting hard
For what purpose?
There's literally no reason for her to show up in Totland.
She's being escorted by G5 to Vegapunk, so she can explain to hem in detail what the fuck Caesar actually did to the kids. Vergo's there too, kept in several boxes so he can't stitch himself together
I got the joke, but like any metaphor it dies when you think about it too hard.
I got annoyed trying to think of a way you could pun Dragon and Madara together without it sounding completely shit desu.
It was a nice parallel;>>153555832
I feel like the final handful of arcs before the Strawhats finally reach Raftel are probably going to see a number of new and former crew members being added to the permanent roster.
Essentially, I kind of expect basically everyone who joined but left (Vivi), said they'd probably join later (Jimbei), said they wanted to go with (Carrot), or just might not have any safe haven other than with the Strawhats (any of the Fishman royals who go to the Reverie), to all probably pop up for the Raftel arc.
The Reverie is probably not going to go as planned, and Shirahoshi attending is probably going to spark some serious shit going down, which means that she, Vivi, and any other royals or world leaders with known ties to Luffy might all be in danger. Even Stelly might have been invited because of his ties to Sabo and by extension Luffy and Dragon.
so, how do you see the wedding playing out?
leaving comrades to die
emotionally broken/saved by sanji
>book guy (chopper)
You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.
That's not really a bad theory, but the Vinsmokes must have some brass balls to go right into the belly of the beast to triple cross Big Mama's double cross.
If they'd insisted the wedding be held on neutral ground I'd buy into it more.
You guys are alright... Dont come to the Wedding tomorrow.
Why don't the straw hats pull a Blackbeard and just shoot Big Mom to death?
The Yonko crews go like this, think of it like EU4 idea groups
Shanks took quality ideas, he has strong dudes and is picky with who he has in his inner crew and he probably recruits crews that are also picky with who they recruit.
Big Mam took Quantity and Influence ideas, She gains territory through marriage and forced vassalage and as such her crew is numerous, she focuses of utility and oddity.
Kaido took quantity and offensive ideas, you get the jist and whitebeard is just OP that guy was the actual pirate king.
I think a lot of people are misinterpreting the meaning of this scene.
I don't think Sanji was crying for help to Luffy, but rather than crying out of shame because of his own empathy, like he feels ashamed for not having what it takes to just let the family that abused him throughout his whole childhood die like that (even though is mostly because of his sister, but still). He knows on an intellectual level that they're terrible people and that he probably should abandon them (besides Reiju), but deep down he can't bring himself to leave his blood family to die. So he cried, and to his surprise Luffy accepted Sanji's nature naturally instead of thinking it was stupid, like Sanji himself does.
Basically, Sanji thinks his emotions are a weakness, when the message here is that it's what makes Sanji a cool person. Which is what Luffy sees in him and is helping him realize.
Oda really fucked up by drawing a panel similar to "I WANT TO LIVE," because both scenes are actually pretty different.
When you realize Oda is actually copying Soul Society arc where Aizen (Capone/Pudding/etc) is making use of Ichigo & co's commotion (Strawhats) to execute their secret plan.
Bobbin was supposed to be the strongest
Bobbin burned down a country
Bobbin lead the enraged army
Bobbin was supposed to be the strongest commander
HOW COULD YOU DO THIS ODA???
THIS WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE BOBBINS FATE
BOBBIN WAS SUPPOSED TO FIGHT ZORO
NOT DIE LIKE A FUCKING JOBBER
This is the worst arc of the entire manga
The only thing that will top it all of is if Big Mom goes down like a fucking bitch
Tamatebako knocks out Mont D'or and all the prisoners and wild creatures escape from the library. Big Mom goes on a rampage and most of her children will be busy with trying to calm her down.
Therefore total chaos is assured.
I'm still wondering how Oda will introduce Katakuri since it's already the night before the wedding day.
Because were nearing a thousand fucking chapters and the only people we know to be bounty hunters showed up in the first 50 or so.
Zoro obviously doesnt count as he wasnt super strong back then.
Theres no mention of such a bounty hunter anywhere so I think its safe to assume there isnt one. What I want to know is why.
The hunters showed up in the weakest ocean in the world, as an attempt to find pirates that think they can take advantage of that. In the grand line there's too many strong people, especially in the New World portion.
We don't know every single pirate that exists. We don't see every single news story in the papers on the daily basis in OP. We only see the things important to the story, implying that the SHs won't have to bother with high profile bounty hunters in the currently-known future. You also have to realize that just because someone has a stupidly high bounty a la Jack, that someone out there will have to try and cash it in from the Government. There's a limit between bounty and how worthwhile going after the person is; if a person has a high bounty it's for a reason. That reason could easily be your death, and thus ultimately worthless to you.
Because if you're super strong there's no point in becoming a bounty hunter. Realistically you'd never be able to take down a top tier person like a Yonko or something by yourself because they have a whole crew of strong people + tons of allies. And even if you get a team of super strong bounty hunters you're basically a pirate crew by that point anyways.
Not really a fan of it so far. I personally didn't like the way Sanji treated Luffy. It felt like a dumb move especially since he's known the crew for so long and should know by now that they go through crazy shit every time. By beating Luffy up, he was putting him at a disadvantage. He should've just spoken to him. This is my biggest issue with this arc. I know that Oda wanted to follow a certain narrative, but I just didn't like the way it went. Secondly, the pacing. The Seducing Woods was kind of dragged out and (it felt like) Oda spent a lot of time showing us pointless running around and them getting confused but of late things feel like they're being rushed. These recent events would've been more interesting than Seducing Woods if they could've been fleshed out. Moreover, BM despite being a Yonko isn't really intimidating. I feel like the character designs reduce the gravity of the situation and don't make the arc seem as dark as it actually is. Lastly, I feel like the fights in this arc have been set up so that they could be skipped and I'm not a big fan of that either. Every fight has been short or Oda only showed us the start and the end. These are my reasons for why I don't particularly like this arc.
I see Capone going wild. He's got a loving wife and a beautiful baby boy who is growing up so fine, etc.
The man has bulletproof plot armor.
Also, he knows where Caesar and a lab full of shit Caesar can use to make weapons is.
I don't even think he's going to bother fucking with Strawhat, a la "dis, the day of your crewmates wedding".
I seriously need to see Bege send his entire arsenal against Big Mom and just have her beat the shit out of all of them before beating the shit out of him. Like just fucking crushing him until he's a bloody mess on the ground, in one of her fits of rage, before finally taking all the souls of his crew
>Imagine Oars Jr with a logia
>Still See Doffy cutting his leg off
>See everyone with haki beat the shit out of him because he still has the same amount of ability
