This is incorrect. Check the chapter 285 ("The Truth about the Kiss"), page 14 - they only sealed his desire *toward her*, not his lust in general. This is further proved by his behaviour towards Hild, Urd and other sexy goddess not changing after the seal was broken.

Belldandy's blame was not telling him about this. But this further proves for me they're a great couple - they share the same weakness.

I believe the seal wasn't just on K1 towards Bel but also in Bel towards K1. It makes sense, if you think about it - her mother even mentions that gods are also delicate and fleeting. The manga simply doesn't focus on that because Bell was aware of her own seal, and fine with it.

It really says a lot about how garbage anime romance is when this couple is so highly, universally praised. Don't get me wrong, they are fun as fuck and I agree that they're one of the best, but they aren't even a big focus of the series. They don't really have or need much depth at all either. The fact that they're still so good makes it obvious how sorely lacking the medium is in established couples who actually 'click' and get along well to the point of their relationship itself (rather than the relationship development) being endearing and entertaining. It's much better than couples who are overly awkward and uncomfortable with each other, with a side of forced drama.

I think the biggest issue here is that you're trying to see AMG's Heaven and Hell as similar to the ones from Christian mythology. Remember, it's a Japanese work based on the Norse mythology. Heavens aren't necessarily "good" and Hild is by no means Satan, if anything gods and demons resemble far more the Aesir and Vanir (different classes of gods) than the dualistic Christian system.

As such,

This is only true to an extent. Pascal is aware of Hubert's feelings but is awkward about expressing them and a little afraid of commitment, but she does care a lot for him.
