You guys have to understand that translated material will have a different atmosphere. You have to make your future script reflect that, not the original Japanese. Changes are inevitable in some cases and that builds up. It makes sense to focus on making your script fit together as a whole rather than referring to the Japanese script to see how close you can get to it. Basically inevitable change leads to some change in atmosphere/character so you work on trying to build around that.

Honestly, I've been just letting the subs slide, trying not to let them get the best of me, but I had some serious cringe moments with them this week. They're somehow actually getting worse each episode.
