How much value do you put into visual direction?

Legit question for canonfags. Should I watch the episodes that take place after the manga end? Are they any good and they do they add anything worthwhile to the story?

I don't care about Bolt and the new generations, I was satisfied with the manga end despite the trainwreck that was the last arc.

Are those the childhood flashback ones? I stopped afterwards since it felt like they were just milking the anime with fillers.
