Hit or miss with it's episodic structure, but there were some damn good narratives in there.

The blind kid, the guy trapped on the mountain, the sake brewer, the snow at the bottom of the lake, and the guy stuck in a loop all stick out in my mind.

Has it ever occurred to you that style could be substance?

ITT: OP too blind to see the meaning behind Mushishi episodes.

I'm watching the first season right now. It's not like it's awesome but I like most of the stories of the chapters and I really appreciate they dont force humor like all animes now do. But it is true that not all the chapters are pretty good and the episodic things makes the good ones better and the bad ones worse.
