Despite what it seems, F/GO's first story arc was actually pretty superb. We learned a lot about the setting and functions of the timeline in Fate as well as the debut of Merlin and Solomon, plus an expansion on Gilgamesh and a hundred other servants besides.

The writing is better than ever, really. Nasu's absolutely gotten better over the years and he's completely on point for the second half of F/GO (he did not personally write the first half sadly).
Even for their designs, the characters are great. Caesar, you might dislike because he's fat? But he's charismatic to the core and honestly pretty hilarious. Solomon and Merlin are fan favorites, to say nothing of other late-story heroes like King Hassan. It's fun to go on a drunken journey with Drake across the Okeanos chapter. It's hilarious when Thomas Edison claims the title King President and fights a war with robots painted red-white-blue. It's fun, kinda light hearted, but satisfactory storytelling and dramatically conclusive by the end.

Fate/extra~extella : Meh game, but, this was our first real exposure into the possibilities of what servants could be. Yeah, it debuted the first Saber clone, but everyone knows who the true heroine is. It also is a platform that can allow for some of the interactions we want to see between characters.

Fate/acrophya : Carried on with the alternate universe thing, though this has a lot of promise to be as gritty as Zero was, since it's supposed to be a rehash of the 3rd-4th Grail War. Really looking forward to this. Some of Nasu's best stuff isn't written by him. See: Zero.

Fate/grand order : It's your typical gacha mobile game so it is trash.. It's got a nice story if you can get ahold of the translated bits, and gives us some more insight into the Nasuworld. Yeah, some of the characters are typical saberclone fapbait, or genderbend male warlords, but it's also neat in that it provides those alternate class servants we hear about. Rune-caster Cu Chulainn, Artoria as a cavalry-mounted Lancer,
