Do Satou, Gen and Takahashi intend to betray Tanaka? That seems bizarre. Pragmatically, only Satou should be against Tanaka, and even that much is not certain.

Yes but the other stuff isn't changed by that. We've always known that Satou was insane. Arguably he could have destroyed his "original" brain when he crashed the airplane but walked away with that body "intact".

This chapter had him take down a group of Yakuza thugs while only having one leg. That's amazing but then he also dodged bullets and kept them on the run for long enough to rack up a significant body count. He's a demi-god at this point. He's a Khornite disciple and he's amassing more skulls for the skull throne.
