Nah, I actually like it. It never made itself to be an anime about drama, which I prefer. Instead, it's just a care-free story with quirky characters doing quests. Since it already established that narrative from the start, you can't really be disappointed.

they looked waaay out of model, go check it out again, also the op looks like this.

But it wasn't a bad episode, maybe it was a bit slow but it worked as a recap mostl.My guess is that people thought that the rest of the show was going to look like that and got scared.
